Is this good or bad? I heard some owners turn off their iStop.

read it will have power seat with memory, what else? Any changes with its pricing?
Mine is 2018 na. I don't think there's a change.
The gas AWD with power seats plus price increase is the 2018 na for the 2.5.

How does the Front and Rear Parking Sensor works with your 2018 CX5 AWD Sport? Is it like this:
Mazda3 Genuine Screen integrated Front and Reverse Parking Sensors - YouTube
If not as shown there, how does it indicate which sensor has detected an obstacle?
if youre on reverse.. obviously the car direction ie reverse. vice versa..

It's got three levels of distance detection in the front and rear. It's also integrated with the Blindspot monitoring system. So even if you're stopped in traffic, if something or someone is nearby, it alerts you...like pedestrians walking in front of the car... even when backing up, the fronts will still work if it detects you're too near an adjacent vehicle or wall. (Car has to be in Reverse or Drive mode though, so once you put it in park, they go silent.) In the fronts there's indicators for left front, full front, and right front sensors are being activated. And similar to the rear.
Does that mean meron din tayo dito nung rear cross traffic alert habang umaatras?
Yes may rear cross traffic alert. Wala yung radar sa grill to enable AEB (Smart City Braking), Follow Cruise Control, pero yung Diesel has the windshield mounted camera for the Lane keep assist. Traffic signs are Navigation Card dependent. They just pop up...based on where you are on the map...pero they show up on the HUD once you get it installed.
How about the indication of where the obstacle is?
Toyota has a very similar system, some have car icon somewhere in the dashboard and the corner blinks red when it detects an obstacle, while some shows on instrument cluster.
Not sure if CX5 is just plain buzzer sound and up to you to guess which corner sensor detected the obstacle.
When a sensor is triggered, the Headunit will show the outline of the cx-5, with three levels of 'lines' in the front and rear and at the corners. It beeps and pulses the sensor side that is getting triggered, at what level, and with the corresponding beeping...the closer it is, the more frequent is the beep and pulses. Closest level is just one constant red indicator, and non interrupting beep. Multiple sensors can be showing...and the level with the closest level gets precedent on the beep.
If the turn signals are in use, the blind spot monitoring signals not only show up on the side mirrors, but also on the front heads up display and there's also an audible beep if it's not safe to turn that way. Without the turn signals, only the side mirror indicators will show. (meaning it'll light up even if you have no intention to change lanes...but will not beep)
To CX5 owners, what gasolina do you use?
I read in the manual that for PH the 2.0 Pro and AWD 2.5 “perform best” with regular unleaded 90 octane or higher.
I’m wondering if
- using premium (eg Petron XCS or Shell 95) would harm the engine
- using premium would show a perceptible improvement in performance (power, smoothness).
I am inclined to use premium because of a a positive experience using XCS in a previous gen CRV.
Any thoughts/experiences on the CX5 would be appreciated.

It does change in frequency. Slower beats at the farthest level, pretty much a constant tone when you're cms away...
Don't know what you mean about multi-info display vs standard LCD display... afaik, across all three trims, pareho sila sa intrument display... heads up lang yung wala sa PRO.
Ah, I meant, yung sound kasi ng lane departure warning, supposedly pwede baguhin, gawing yung rumble sound na katulad nung sa rumble strip sa highway. Anyway I just got that (and yung tungkol sa variants nung information display) from the CX-5 OM that I downloaded kasi excited na ako eh.![]()
got mixed information, where does the parking sensor obstacle indication shows? in MZD connect (head unit) or instrument cluster?
Shall this be an accurate reference (Mazda3 Genuine Screen integrated Front and Reverse Parking Sensors - YouTube) on how it shows in CX 5?
