October 8th, 2017 10:53 AM #281I did a minimal research on that too! [emoji1] Its been done nga with Mazda 3 and the gen 1 CX-5. I haven't driven a paddle shift aggressively before so it's faster to shift using those. Will the 1st gen CX-5 or the 2017 M3 paddle shifter fit?

They should fit....you'll just need the new back cover w/ slots for paddles that would mate to the new steering wheel design. Looking at both the 2017 BN3 & your CX, they seem to share the same wheel. The paddles look the same as the 2014-16 BM3, too.
