Just overheard from the m3 facebook page that mazda japan is planning to hold off shipments of the hatchback and only deliver sedans here in our country. Not sure how true this is but just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

Hmmm. . .if they do this then the HB would be a limited edition. My 1.5 HB would shoot to at least 2.0 sedan price. . .hehe (joke lang po)

not that I know of, wala pa naman ata nagrereport ng stolen side mirrors pero hindi rin mainstream brand ang mazda tulad ng ford, mitsubishi, toyota, etc kaya hindi rin dpat mainit sa mata, haha

Honestly, few kilometers lang tinakbo ng 16" OEM rims ko, give or take na off siya ng 0.5 to 1km/l against the 2.0 rims. Di ganon kalaki at di rin ganon ka accurate kase less mileage lang nagamit sa 1.5 but of course, nakaka affect talaga ang higher weight. Isa pang factor e slightly off siya sa speedometer since mas malaki ng onti in terms of total diameter ng rims.

One thing for sure, mas mag iimprove handling since wider tires kahit na masacrifice ng onti ang gas consumption. And of course, mas maganda sa paningin ang 18s compared to 16s. Hehe.

I too, would sacrifice the looks with the 18s kung 1km/l lang naman. Drool! haaha! Pwede pabulong magkano mo nakuha with tires? Para may idea lang

Lancer rims should stay on Lancers. I don't agree with using one car's stock rims on a different car. Sometimes interchanging between cars of the same brand are okay (i.e. Sonata rims on an Elantra), but usually they aren't. But if it's a different brand on a car (like Impreza rims on an Altis, or in your case Lancer rims on a Mz3), it really looks off for me.

Pero ikaw, if you think it looks good, then go. But to any discerning car enthusiast, you'll always be that guy who put Lancer rims on his Mz3.

May setting ba sa M3 na pag wala yung susi sa loob ng kotse for xx amount of time, kusang mamamatay yung kotse? May isang beses kasi na nakalimutan ko patayin yung engine ng kotse ko sa parking, tapos maghapon siya umaandar sa parking lot. Buti nalang secure yung parking, kundi baka nacarnap din kotse ko haha. Walang ganong setting ata, pero kapag umandar yung koche with the key fob outside the car alam ko tutunog yung loob

May nakapag-try na ba na naka-on ang kotse, tapos alisin 'yung keyfob sa loob, then paandarin ang kotse (medyo malayo - para tipong carnap-without-susi scenario).

It will still run but it won't re-start without the key inside if the engine is turned off. Kinda useless pa din to a carnapper.

Kaso pwede pa rin nila madala ang sasakyan then chop-chop.

Doesn't make sense din dahil di naman ganun ka-popular ang 3. Matagal ma-tengga ang pyesa. Not worth the effort.

If the key fob's battery dies you can use the spare key inside to open the car. Use the fob to push the start button so the engine will start.

Nga pala, sa nababasa ko sa internet, ang known issue ng mazda worldwide eh RUST. May similar experience ba sa mga mazda previous gen dito sa atin?

Instead of keeping the key in your pocket and pushing the start button with your finger, gamitin ang key fob mismo to press the button.

BTW Mazda got the technology from Mitsubishi and it is very similar to the key system in the Mirage GLS.

You can still start the car. The battery is just to lock and unlock the doors. It doesnt use the battery to start the car. May chip siya sa loob. Thats what my SA told me.
