It's just a 3-hour trip from Balintawak to Baguio nowadays, assuming you are just averaging 100kmh on NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX. With short stops plus aggressive driving from bus crews, 4 hours will do for a bus.

Hindi daw barumbado, pero no stops kaya 4 hours lang.

Btw 3 hours is if you drive fast. 2 hours ang NLEX to TPLEX Urdaneta. Urdaneta to Rosario is another 30 minutes. 45 min to 1 hour going up via Kennon, slightly more if McArthur. Average would be 3.5 hrs by car. Surprisingly same lang by bus pala.

My usual 12 km/L went down to 6.1 km/L and I kinda pity my tires and brakes now. 😂

For me, on rainy season basta may mild rain lang i will not recommend kennon, delikado erosion with those small rocks.

Either route is fine. Thousands make that journey everyday without any issue.

The hard part in baguio is finding parking. Thats the challenge there......parking.

TPLEx will open the Binalonan to Pozzorubio segment on December 6. A few more minutes faster going to Baguio.

This is a really good development for me. This saves about 10-15 min of driving compared to Urdaneta or Binalonan.

Go for Aspiras-Palispis (aka Marcos) Hiway. Wider less steep roads, much safer and easier to deal with than Kennon. Also there's less construction works going on at Marcos compared to Kennon.

Easiest way to go to baguio from manila
