Marami pa rin bang tao(residente at turista) sa Baguio?...
Ok na ba daanan yung kennon road?

Dito ko dumaan kahapon (Maundy Thursday) going up.
Observations:
- madami pa ding areas ang under repair / rehab / construction. Meron naman mga warning signage and DPWH marshals stationed along the way to assist. Meron din mga area na one way gawa sa rock slides / rehab.
- Since maganda panahon kahapon going up, no problem and relatively light traffic.
- Mga rehab areas ay bagong sementado / road widened na, pero madami padin yung makitid na 2-lane road section kaya exercise caution.
- Kennon is slated to be opened until Monday April 22 but can be closed due to bad / inclement weather (medyo umambon ng slight drizzle kaninang hapon).
Now in Baguio...
Since Kennon Road is still close, i took the Tuba-Asin Road, and i like it.
Roads are two lanes and relatively well paved, except for a few areas that you have to slow down because of sudden uneven roads. Lots of twists and turns, long uphill climbs and a few sharp uphill curves.
The best thing is, there are no trucks, buses. Only few vehicles are taking this route.
For the adventureous and experienced drivers, this road is a good alternative, but i don't recommend to newbies and faint hearted.
It took me 4 hours and 15 mins, from BGC to CJH.
Still Kennon Road for me, when it opens. It will save me 45 mins.
Ma try nga yang Tuba-Asin road kapag punta kami Bagiuo.

Yes, it's the Innova. Drove in D all the way, no power mode. Easy drive.
Kaya ng GS, with a driver like you, kayang kaya. Di naman sya katulad ng Ligaya drive.
Yes, option sya sa routes, which is actually 4 minutes longer than Marcos Highway and 5 kms longer sa destination ko, but i chose this kasi mas lesser traffic.
Fogs? Oo, medyo hindi pa safe sa foggy day and night drives, hindi pa ganun kaganda if i compare sa Kennon and Marcos Highway.
Why are people thinking that going up to Baguio will be hard for a small car? I drove up to Bagiuo with people and luggage using a previous gen City 1.5L and Fiesta 1.0L Ecoboost with no issues at all.

"they have been mis-informed."
probably by folks who had also been mis-informed.
many years ago, there was this rumor that mitsubishi minicas were not allowed to enter the wrigley's chewing gum factory, because they might get stuck if they ran over a spot of used chewing gum on the road surface.
