^^ magkano ito sir?

Ecsta is more expensive than the Achilles. For everyday use, you won't notice much difference in terms of grip. Mas tahimik yung Ecsta. The Achilles lasts longer because it has a higher treadwear rating (400 vs 320).
Ang isa pang ayoko sa Ecsta is ang kapal ng sidewall. I had 205/55 R16 before and noticeably mas makapal ang sidewall niya kaysa sa Dunlop SP Sport 01 and LM703 na same size.
Personally I'd recommend the Achilles more, but if you're a brand-conscious buyer siyempre dun ka na sa Kumho.

I've used 3 out of 4 sa brands na offered sa iyo, in 195/55/R15 size nga lang.
Nankang NSII Ultra Sport - Grips ok, noisy after 5k kms, lasted 40k kms (2.5k PhP 6 yrs ago).
Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 - Grips ok, not so noisy as Nankang but became noisier during the last half of it's life, lasted 40k kms (2.6k Php 4 yrs ago).
Neuton NT5000 - Grips ok, still not noisy, currently at 35k kms, still have treadlife to last till approx 50k+ kms. (2.75k PhP 2 years ago). I want to get Kumho again but at that time medyo nagmahal na ang Kumho.
Current odo of car is 219k kms.
I have the Achilles 2233 (205/50/R17) and it's slightly more quiet than my friend's Federal 595 Evo (205/45/R17 or 215/45/R17 ata yung sa kanya). It's definitely more quiet on smooth road and low speeds, but at moderate to highway speeds it's almost as noisy.
I would recommend the Accelera Phi (not Phi-R) if you want truly quiet tires. They're quiet at any speed and road condition, noticeably better than similarly priced tires with an asymmetrical tread pattern. It's also comfortable and plush. I've read some comments from other forums na mahina daw sidewall ng Accelera Phi, but I do a lot of hard driving and it has great dry grip. I don't feel the car sway or the tires losing traction during hard cornering.
Yes, around the same price range, although slightly more expensive yung Accelera Phi by a few hundred pesos at larger sizes (19"+). At 17" sizes, parehas lang sila ng 2233 at my suking tire shop sa Evangelista. But the price difference is worth it considering how quiet and smooth its ride is. I have 235/40/R19 Accelera Phi on my Soul. I was supposed to put a set of Phis on my Swift as well, but I decided to try out the 2233 to see if they were better. 205/50/R17 na 2233 sa Swift ko. As for tire pressure, 35 PSI on the Soul (Phi) and 30 PSI on the Swift (2233).
Although the 2233 are very good for the price, talagang na-spoil ako sa refinement ng Accelera Phi. I really wish Phi nalang nalagay ko sa Swift. Night and day yung difference sa refinement vs the 2233 and other similarly priced tires I've experienced for that matter. I don't think isolated yung case ko since positive feedback I've read about the Accelera Phi on other sites mostly revolves around the Phi's low road noise and smooth ride.
P.S. Don't mistake the Phi for the Phi-R. Slightly different yung Phi-R sa Phi even though they both have an asymmetrical tread pattern. I cannot ascertain if the Phi-R will be as quiet and smooth as the Phi.
thanks for the feedback, Kestana.
will consider this Accelera Phi on my next tire change.
How about 185/65 R14
I have seen in S&R
Yoko Blue Earth 3.6K
Michelin Energy 3.4K
Dunlop 3.4K
Kumho 2.9K
Guys any idea about the price of brands like Federal, Achilles, Casumina, Nankang, etc..?
