    I have a 2015 Altis 1.6G MT, 225/40 R18 tires.

I used to run 35 PSI for the sake of better FC. Then, one day I tried going for 32 PSI - it was a noticeably improvement in terms of handling; better steering feedback, more grip. I didn't notice any drop in FC either - I was still able to do 20 km/L on a highway ecorun with 32 PSI.

Recommended pressure for my car is 32/30. Running on 32 all around and haven't looked back. Try it, you might be surprised how much grippier your car would be if pressure is lowered a little.

I will be changing 4 tires soon and Radar tires are cheap...should I consider this for my Innova? What other budget tires would you suggest?

OT. Anung model ng Innova niyo? Did it suffer from uneven tire wear at the front?

    changed to KYB.

Just fitted new Achilles 2233 tires on my Swift. Size is 205/50/R17. Not satisfied with the level of comfort so far. Nowhere near as comfy as the Accelera Phi (235/40/R19) on my Soul, which are 35 PSI both front and rear. In terms of road noise, the 2233 are slightly more quiet than the Goodyear Duraplus (185/65/R15) they replaced. But the ride quality suffered.

Despite comments about it being "comfortable", I'd say they're average, but not comfort-oriented. The previous tires of those 2233 owners are most likely not very comfortable so the 2233 is comfortable in comparison. I'll drop the pressure down to 30 front, 29 rear and post my thoughts by then. Currently on 32 PSI front and rear. I suppose it's safe to lower pressure to below 30 PSI since these 2233s are XL (extra load) rated.

Comfort aside though, I think they're very grippy and provide good feedback. However, my Swift doesn't have the performance to really test these tires to anywhere near their limits. Maybe I should have gotten a set of Accelera Phis instead since comfort is my primary concern.

    Pics of my new tires:

planning to buy 205/70/R15 for my Innova...kaysa naman daw vs the stock 205/65/R15

    my choices:

    Yokohama Geolandar = 4000/pc
    Bridgestone Dueler = 4,200/pc ...promo is 3+1 so i'll just buy 3
    Goodyear Wrangler HPAW = 4,400/pc

Ano kaya mas maganda? 3 times a week lang ginagamit ang car with occassional long travel to north luzon every vacation.

Any suggestions for 225/70/r15 at? I dont want yo spend much for it since specifically pang.spare tire lang purpose. In the last 5 years or so naka.isang puncture lang ako so i dont expect to use the tire much throughout its life...

Dueler H/T ba yun? AFAIK yung Geolandar A/T tire, kaya mas maingay at mas pangit ride quality.

I don't see much difference between 205/65 and 205/70 though.

The Innova SR Edition introduced awhile back had 225/70/R15 tires if I remember correctly. I suppose if Toyota allowed the upsize to this point, there shouldn't be much difference compared to the regular version.

A relative recently bought a 2nd hand 2011 Kia Carnival LX LWB. Oddly enough, it had undersized 215/70/R16 (225/70/R16 stock) front tires and oversized 245/70/R16 rear tires. Since they were rather thin already, I had all four changed to 245/70/R16 Falken Ziex's at Tireboy (total 5600/piece including installation and balancing costs), also to increase the rather limited ground clearance. The steering didn't feel any heavier for me despite the rather big jump from 215 to 245, and the fact that its front bumper doesn't scrape the surface of steep gradients anymore was certainly welcome.

Wala na pala halos yung Yokohama A.Drive? Ang pumalit eh yung BlueEarth AE01 series nila. Bought mine from Remal for Php3,560 each to replace my bald as Bembol Roco front tires. I only got 3-years on them although the rear tires still got about 90% tread on them, all bought at the same time. Lower daw ang rolling resistance nitong Blue Earth although I like the sportier look of the A.Drive more. On another note, the Westlake SV308s seems to be a good tire if only because of their rim guard. Kung iyon na pala sana naipalagay ko noong nabili ko ang mags ko it could have saved it from several scrapes with the sidewalk and could have looked more pristine until now.
