Just wanted to know what are the pros and cons of the new picanto? I heard from a friend may issue daw ang chassis nito, not good daw?

hmmm.. not sure how to judge whether it has a good chassis or not. care to expound? i haven't had any issues with it yet. walang katok o lagutok coming from the suspension or chassis. i've had my 2012 picanto for almost a year..

what deal po and saan dealer po? if comparo is size get the rio sedan. if fuel consumption mas ok 1.2L picanto over rio. if features get the 1.2L picanto, yan ay if the 1.2 L of the rio. But if the 1.4 L 6M/T rio sedan dun nako.

This is for the 2005 picanto. I first started hearing noise from the suspension on the 5th year. that's because I abused the car a bit. But generally ok naman suspension. and the great thing it's cheap to get OEM suspension parts.

Sa amin meron din sa 2005 picanto namin na maingay dun sa suspension sabi shock mount na daw. Noong nakaka 3 years pa lang yung picanto namin naririnig ko na yung maingay na yun.

Ano number ng paint ng 2005 Picanto color passion orange?
Mali yung color nung bangga na inayos sa body repair shop although uulitin naman ng body repair shop yun. Gusto ko maka cgurado para tama na siya.

Shop experience again bumalik ako para tanggalin nila yung rough parts at pati yung rough sa top ng tail pipe at bahay ng muffler. Nagaalit ba naman sa akin yung shop owner. Kahit na alam niyang paint shop yun at wala naman mga harang yung magkakatabi na kotse dun.Sinabi ko "baka nadamay habang may pinuntarahan na ibang sasakyan." Ayaw na talaga niya. Yung sa engine bay lang daw ang aayusin niya at yung sablay na paint..
Ayaw niya pa gawin yun samantalang maliit lang naman na case yun. Gagastos pa ulit ako nito sa ibang paint shop.
Hindi na ako babalik dun.Pakiramdam ko kase minamaliit niya ang customer.Ako pa ginisa niya sa scenario na yan.

Pansin ko since A/T yung picanto namin kapag traffic na bumper to bumper na kapag nakatigil ka then paandar ka na parang hirap siya or mamamatay yung makina kailangan tapakan ko pa ng husto yung gas.Yung nga lang kakadyot naman siya.
Problema na ba sa automatic transmission yun or may kailangan ayusin na sa automatic transmission?

Got my picanto (AT) this month, kaka 1k lng ng Odo nya... Wat i observed sa FC nya, depende tlg sa driver, sa driving habits... With me, nkakuha ako 12km/L ... Ung wife ko, 8km/lL lng. Kaya cguro maraming reklamo sa FC ng matic kasi sa driving habits din nila. Bka masyado mabigat ung paa nila hehehe

Guys, baka pwde niyo po ako matulungan.. Bumigay na kasi compressor nung picanto namin. Baka may marecommend kayo kahit 2nd hand or surplus shops or bnew... Help po

Try mo sa goodgear pasay. I think it's around 6,500 to 7,000. Bnew. Check mo muna sa ibang shops. Kasi sakin sabi kelangan na daw palitan pero d pa pla.

Mga bossing...just wanted to ask for those who have the picanto AT...how's your fuel consumption? has it improved? i've read horror stories kasi na 5-8 km/L lang ang FC niya. Is that still true? has anyone computed with better figures? I really like the look of the car and it's drive (i test drove the AT and ang ganda ng hatak compared to it's other rivals). it's the FC that really just scared me.

PS i'd really like to get the AT since hopeless na ang traffic sa bansa natin...kaya i'd really like to drive an AT this time.

The horror stories are from automatics. Manuals get the right FC for a car this size. If you want an AT get the mirage. Good FC whether MT or AT. But it cant match the celerio.

sigh...nalungkot naman ako dyan...haha...i saw nga rin sa teamcelerio.com na maganda FC niya kahit yung AT variant...parang wala lang syang power nung ni-test drive ko...haha...yung picanto pag inapakan ko talagan sumisibat (not as fast or powerful as 1.6L engines or bigger pero malakas para sa 1.0L engine).

i guess intay intay pa ako...baka meron pang lumabas na ibang units within the next few years...thanks po ulet.
