hi.. i'm planning to buy a picanto 1.2 at but have been worried about the FC. been searching the forums for new FC updates on the new 2016 model when i finally saw yours. but i'm wondering, 2 days ago you posted that your picanto has poor FC, now ok agad FC mo? how come? can you give more details about this? when did you buy your picanto?

another concern is the durability. been seeing less and less picantos these days. wondering where are the picanto owners in this thread? kamusta na kaya mga picanto nila? sira na ba mga picanto nila kaya konti na lang nasa kalsada? ☺

Yes sir akala ko kc malakas ang FC ng picanto ko but nung ginamit ko na sya long distance like antipolo to tagaytay vice versa napinsin ko n ok nmn pala FC nya 14L n gas n consume nya 170km yun ha tpos 5 person p yun .. sa durability issue nmn di ko p masagot yan since bago p lng picanto ko.

I am a proud and happy Picanto owner (2015 1.0 MT), in terms of FC matipid naman po sya sa gas, my average FC in city driving is around 8.5 - 9 Liters per 100 KM pag lumalabas naman po ako ng metro my FC drops at around 5.5 - 6.1 Liters per 100 KM. Just to site an example Last saturday I left Samal Bataan ng naka full tank going to caloocan, then to cubao to pick up some goods, then to antipolo and straight to pililla wind farm, tas balik ng taguig may natira pa po akong lampas 1/4 nagamit ko pa ngaun papasok, almost E na po sa indicator mamaya palang po ako magpapagas.

sa durability I'll say matibay sya, since ung mga ka grupo namin mismo nagpapatunay, ung iba almost 3 years na ung mga pica nila but no signs of issues, kaya naman po siguro wala na dito ung TS is because meron pong FB page ang Pica owners and dun nyo po makikita na madami pa din pong owners ng pica and padami pa din po ng padami. Not that sure if this is permitted here though you may search for Picanto club ph on facebook and instagram.

Hello Picanto owners!

Kakabili ko lang po ng KIA Picanto 2016. 200KMS pa lang po natakbo nya (ODO) pero pinabless ko na sya sa Our Lady of Manaoag at inakyat ko po siya ng Baguio after ma bless. Bale 4 po kami mag kakasama, Father, Mother, and Girlfriend ko. Nung tatay ko po nag drive pinapalo nya 120-130 KMS/H sa Express Way at nung paakyat kami ng bagyo umaabot 5000 to 6000 RPM nya. Ano po kaya pwede mangyari sa picanto ko ngayon? So far after nung long drive na yun wala naman ako issue na nakita, hindi ko lang alam kung may lalabas din after ilang months. Any suggestions po kung may mag aarise na problema kung ano pwede ko gawin. Thank you po.

May AT bang picanto? Anyway for a small displacement engine (less than 1.2L except turbo charge) I always choose Mt to compensate for the lack of engine power.

nakabili na ba kau ng Picanto? Kasi gusto ko lang malaman if ung mga model 2013 - 2016 mga power mirror ba sila? Both for manual and automatic?
Kasi may nasagi kaming picanto na kotse ung side mirror lang natamaan. tapos sabi nung driver di na daw gumagana ung power window mechanism nya? Possible po ba un?

bakit nakikita ko sa olx, bakit ang laki ng price depreciation ng mga 2014,2015 , early 2016 models despite some have low mileage? is this a good sign?

also me nababasa rin ako sa advert na top of the line trim and yet steel rims? why is that?

also pansin ko yung 2014, 2015 , 2016 models eh naiiba lang sa bumper design...any other things na na "upgrade" ? from previous years?

Hi Everyone. I Just got my 2016 Kia Picanto 1.2 EX AT. It's about a week old. I've been doing the full tank method, using the distance traveled and the amount of fuel consumed. Getting 17 Km/L. But that included a long trip. I will try to check how it goes purely city driving.

Main reason for buying is traveling with my wife and my newborn son. strictly point A to point B. This will be our first car.

Wala na ako makita na brochure online regarding this 2016 model. So I was wondering kung meron dito same na model.

Difference with 2015 model?
Musta naman ang FC? sabi nila nag improve daw ang 2016 AT.
Sabi nila wala daw ABS ang 2016 and sabi naman ng iba meron daw.
No Airbags = this one is confirmed, but the rebadge 2017 meron daw Airbags and ABS. pwede kaya pa upgrade?

Can't help you with your queries since I haven't been following Kias very much.

No airbags and if no ABS... Cost of upgrading is prohibitive. If you really think you need it, consider a different vehicle or the 2017 version.

If you look at FB pages of Kia dealerships, this car is their best seller. They even have 0% down now. One Agent of a dealership told me that they are down P8 mil so far because of this sales gimmick. So why buy a 2nd hand car?
