Share ko lang mga Paps... nagtry ako ng Super Unleaded ng Shell.. Super tahimik ung makina. Ok din ung hatak. Medyo nagtagal ako sa XCS and Xtra Unleaded ng Petron kaya nagulat ako sa tunog ng makina nung nag Shell ako. Nawala din yung vibration sa gas pedal. Try ko din siguro ung 50/50 na Unleaded and V Power sa 3rd week ng May.

Yun din pala tanong ko, kaya ba ng 18"?

Napapansin niyo ba every time na mag pre-start check..yung fuel laging parang bawas na (compared to what was left the previous day). For example the previous day naiwan siya pointing to the second to the last bar..pag pre-start na next day..hindi na siya nakapoint dun sa bar..mas kakaunti na yung reported fuel. Iniisip ko kasi kung papacheck ko kung may possible leak yung fuel line.

Higher RON fuels evaporate faster, lalo na kung nakabilad sa araw sir.

Yep tahimik talaga ang makina sa Shell Unleaded, my only qualms about it is that I seem to get lower km per liter using that fuel. For now I'll stick to UniOil muna.

As for 18" mags, siguro mas maganda kung 16" lang especially if you're concerned about fuel consumption.

I called my Kia outlet this afternoon to inquire about changing oil after the 1st 1,000kms and I was told that there was no such thing. They said come back when I get to 5,000kms. I thought there was a break in period for new cars and it's usually the first 1,000kms.

I have 2 friends with new vehicles right now and they are suppose to come back for the oil change when they reach 1,000kms. Am I missing something here or is Kia on a different maintenance scheme because of the 5 year 160k kms warranty?

There is no such thing as 1k PMS for Kia...they said it's not needed as our vehicle is already break in.... even my SOrento doesnt have 1k pms.. the 1st pms for mine is at 7.5km...

I no longer have faith with our dealer (Wheels Inc.) so I believe I will not purchase any accessories from them. Ang hina ng after sales. !*#$%

Check out this spoiler (see below link). Though the pic shows the older Kia, it will fit the 2k10 model. Pero mas ok sana kung may available dito para sabay pakabit na din.

same here. my dealer said at 7,000km for the first oil change....i am running at 4000km right now and my rio is rocking all the time ...... enjoy ur rio ride!!!!!!

Thanks guys, my friends will be looking at me weird about this! But hey kudos to Kia for being different regarding the 1k PMS. I just looked at the manual, I think it's 7.5k for normal use and 5k for heavy use. I only drive short distances everyday and according to the manual mine will fall under heavy use.

I don't think na mawawala yang 0% interest sir, but I think it goes something like 30% DP, 3 yrs to pay. Just ask your SA to give you the 0% interest quote.

Thank you po. Wow! Maganda nga yun deal na yun kung 0% nga. Kasi I was planning on buying either the Hyundai i10 or Getz, both costing around 540,000 pesos cash and will reach around 620,000 if with interest and bought installment.

But if I am to get the Kia Rio whose price is 695,000 pesos with no interest, then this is a better deal indeed. No money wasted for the interest which is almost 100,000 pesos.

Well sir if you talk to your agent you may get a sizeable discount kahit na hindi zero interest plan ang kunin nyo. I got 120k discount sa 5yrs to pay plan. Try nyo itanong yung tungkol sa "low downpayment scheme" :D

Have you guys used your "heated" side mirrors? It works with the rear window defogger. Maganda siya gamitin after umulan to clear up your side view mirrors fast. :D
