Ganito dapat: 100km divide mo sa 6liter= ang total FC mo ay 16.67km/Liter....

16.67km/liter??? Highway driving? I'm only getting 9 km/liter on my M/T version - city driving.
Pero sa acceleration, i'm quite happy. Better than the 1.3L Vios. Baka sanay ka sir sa de-sais or de-otso.

True. 6km/l is too low for a small vehicle such as the Rio.

Though not impossible to happen since it's A/T and one more probable cause is the driving style of ArcticIce.

Just got my Rio serviced at almost 16Km. 4,500 Php inabot; change oil, air filters, check lahat according to manufacturer suggested maintenance. The ride is much smoother and quieter for some reason. Very happy with the purchase. Constant city driving FC at 10-13Km/L for the last 8 months, rarely naman kasi makalong highway drive.

Share naman kayo guys experiences. And update natin 'yung sa Facebook group natin na ginawa ni sir Karlo.

nga pala mga brad, yung Kia Rio ko 2008 A/T model. pansin ko nasa 7-8 kilometers per liter nalang ano kaya mga way para ma pinpoint kung ano possibleng problema nito kakapalit ko nga lng pala ng 15" mags

31k na nga pala ako sa ODO :D ako ata yung pinaka unang nag ka kia rio dito way back nung 2008 hehe :D

Fellow Rio owners as well other car enthusiast, if you could give me your two cents on how could this be. Had my first PMS at about 5000km ODO last 16 Nov. Prior to this, I'm averaging more than 9 km/l of fuel consumption. Oil change lang ang ginawa kasi sabi ng Kia Pasig wala pa raw 7500km. When I had that PMS, fuel level is above 3/4 and when I filled up after a few days, computed fuel consumption was only 8 km/l. Had the usual city travel and one time went to San Pedro Laguna averaging 100km/hr then travelled to Montalban (uphill on 2nd or 3rd gear only). Filled up gas on Dec. 3 and computed fuel consumption at 9.7 km/l. Now after travelling only about 115 km, my fuel gauge already points between half and 3/4 on the gauge (from 3/4 this morning after travelling for only less than 20 km). I think I usually get 200 km just about half full. I feel I will not get the average 9 km/l. Could those Kia Pasig guys have messed up something in the car just by doing a change oil? I'm quite paranoid on this things and I have a complete log of my fuel consumption and I have this uneasy feeling on my fuel consumption. Manual yung Kia ko nga pala.

Does anyone know about the 2010 Rio LE?(...coz i have just seen in this site http://www.auto-searchphilippines.com/KiaPriceList.html that the LE costs 833K and its manual transmission.) what makes this Limited Edition almost 100K more expensive than the AT which is 745K?

Malinis naman, nacheck ko na. I went to Kia Pasig yesterday and they told me wala naman silang ginalaw na iba nung magchange-oil. Ang ginawa nila yesterday ay nagreset ng ECU then obserbahan ko raw. Upon getting home at night nagpafull tank ako and ang computed fuel consumption ay 7.7km/li (Not Good!!). Typical city driving lang iyan. So obserbahan ko pa sya ngayon. Aba eh mas matipid pa yung innova nung officemate ko, VVti (2.0 L disp.) A/T and he's getting 8+km/l.

How about recent traffic condition compared to your pre-check-up traffic condition? stop and go traffic can surely affect the FC.

Sharing experience lang, I tested Petron Blaze 100 and I must say in terms of Fuel Economy, it's the best that I had and on second thought, well worth the money for me (Although most would just say waste of money because of the price). Have already loaded around 4k Php worth of gas and FC is very good compared to Shell Unleaded, Petron XCS, SeaOil X97, and Petron Xtra (palagi ko rati gamit). Highest ko kanina 14.81 Km/L (282 km/19.10 L) and pinakamababa na 10 Km/L. I think it's because of the maintenance din, KIA Fairview ako PMS nung 16Km. My Rio must have liked that fuel. 40-60 City stop go traffic, 80-100 kph HW (Edsa-Commonwealth madaling araw)

I live in Marikina and travel by way of Calumpang, a short way along Marcos H-way, Amang Rodriguez then to Calle Industria going to my office just before Eastwood city. The traffic in Marcos H-way became horrendous and in Calle Industria, there were on-going repairs for a number of weeks now. Well, I sure did not felt any difference until that PMS Mid-Nov.

pen_Quin6138, ganda ng fc mo and it's partly because you travel early morning with very light traffic and can make 80 to 100. Sa route ko swerte na maka pag 5th gear. Along Amang rodriguez sometimes I can do it kapag light pa ang traffic, pero seconds lang yon. I actually use Petron Xtra Unleaded only and might try the Blaze, kaya lang nanghihinayang ako sa cost kung sa normal na route ko rin lang. Anyway I'm monitoring it now after the ECU resetting and hopefully it will result to some improvement.

bro upgraded un LE costs 833k. meron xa mga accessories ganyan un nakuha namin at mura un downpayment 25k cash out sa fairview pero mabigat un monthly 16,500 5years.

un mga kasama na accesories 2 headrest monitor. 1 touchscreen monitor w/ gps, dvd, bluetooth, usb, memory card reader. tv.

kaya ito un kinuha ko dahil para mag-enjoy un nagrent ng kotse ko. guest sa hotel mga sumasakay.
