Facelifted 2010 Kia Rio

newbie here sa mga cars, maganda ba talaga ang kia rio? i am planning to get one.

Just went to EK kanina with my family, managed to get around 14-15 Km/L. Almost full tank (titipid , 1000Php kinarga ko = 24 L Shell Unleaded).

I read some tips online and one of them is "planning your trip ahead of time". Tsaka one thing I learned from my Dad, be a smooth driver, don't be too aggressive.

'Pag traffic talaga, kakapanghinayang gas, nasa 7-9 Km/L lang. Kanina travelled around 71Km back and forth.

For highway driving ano yung optimal RPM and speed for the Rio?

I found that the optimal speed is between 80-100, 100kph should take you to about 3k rpm (a bit less actually).

I only got about 15 km/l nung 110-130kph takbo ko, on a separate trip of course but same route hehehe

City driving ko dito sa cebu sa rio ko is around 10.1km/L I'm at 5,200 km sa odometer ko barely 3 months hehehe

mas gusto ko ang dashboard ng manual over AT dashboard..

all black kasi ang interior ng AT.. then ang pangit ng head unit ko..
anyway, upgrade na lang...

Dang..I should have trusted my instinct and went with the red rather than the titanium silver. But IMO, if they had a tropical red unit with dark interior that would really sell..mabilis lang kasi madumihan yung beige.

*arcticice: Correct ka sir, medyo dumihin nga ang beige, pero sabi naman sa Casa madali lang linisin ang fabric ng Rio like un sa seats if natapunan ng kahit anong liquid like chololate drinks ng mga kids just wet vacuum lang. Advice din nila wag na cloth-like seat cover ilagay ko, kase once na nilagyan mo nagma mark ang dust sa mga dugtungan ng tahi sa tela and nagiging permanent mark line daw ito sa surface ng seats experience daw nila ito sa mga previous owner.

Malamang 3 years yan. Walang 5 years na 0% interest kahit san ka magpunta. Pwera na lang siguro kung 50% or 70% down.

Sir not sure if available din sa ibang unit lalo premium cars nila like yung Sorento and Carnival, pero yung Picanto I remember inalok din sa akin sa 0% interest. Yung waiting time sir ng unit, pagka sign ng documents sa bank, 3 days lang nakuha ko na unit ko.

Naglipat po kayo di ba ng gulong to 17" then to 15". Any advice po sa kung anong pros and cons. I'm torn between buying a set of 17 or 15 eh. Thank you in advance!
