ahaha target ko pa lang yang 10-11 city driving sir, di pa reality yan. currently nasa 8-9 km/l ang city driving ko. kaya siguro yung 10, pero baka malabo na yung 11 considering the traffic situation plus the fact na nawawala yung "relaxed" driving ko pag uminit ang ulo hahahaha

ahehehe ganun ba. ;) mali pala basa ko. neway mukhang nasa 8-9km/li talaga ang city driving para sa rio. i'm getting better with the clutch and gas pedal so hopefully I can reach 10km/li. lapit na ko mag full tank ulit.

Mukhang ayaw ng Rio ko sa Shell Unleaded, I used the same route nung Monday (when I hit the 17 km/l highway driving) and I only got 14-15 km/l this time around. Nung Monday last week kasi UniOil unleaded gamit ko, and to think mas matraffic nun because of an accident sa EDSA. I'll go back to UniOil for my next full tank and we'll see what happens.

Grail80, yung unit mo ba is MT or AT? I'm planning to get the AT but I want to get an indication of the FC before I proceed. Thanks.

I have a manual transmission, but there are some A/T owners out there I believe. Tingin ko naman for city driving just subtract 1 km/l sa mga figures ng M/T basta light-footed driving lang palagi. Sa US, mas matipid ang Rio for highway driving pag automatic.

To other Rio owners, have you checked your tires' air pressure? Kahapon ko lang nasilip yung sa akin at wapak! nakita ko 50psi. Immediately reduced pressure to 32psi and the ride is now more comfortable, hindi na ako tumatalbog sa loob. Buti na lang di sumabog yung gulong ko hehehehe. I hope the FC improves too, because I'm currently at 10km/l city driving. PS: UniOil Unleaded gas, mas matipid ako kesa sa Shell Unleaded and proven na by experience. :D

Gray and black combination na rin ba yung unit mo? I saw an EX AT sa Kia Marikina and the interior is like that.. hindi na yung beige interior.

Yes sir gray and black ang interior ko... try mo yung titanium silver or yung clear silver. And yes, konting apak lang sa accelerator ramdam na agad ang power ng engine even in the lower revs.

Interior color is based on exterior color. Basically fun colors like red, blue or orange gets you a beige interior while black, titanium and clear silver gets you a black/gray interior. For AT, the power doesn't come in until the car shifts to 2nd..medyo sluggish siya while in 1st (maririnig mo yung engine struggling to get to 2nd as fast as possible).

Just loaded Shell's V-Power last night and had a blast cruising thru the Skyway.

I don't think na magkakaproblema ka sa processing ng papers mo sa dealer. Siguro yung sa office nyo lang matatagalan, naalala ko yung sa akin dati when we submitted the application, one day after tinawagan kami ng dealer na may available na unit and pwede na raw kunin. Pagdating namin sa dealer... LX pala na kulay puti. Sabi ko ayoko nun, tapos three weeks daw bago dumating yung EX so inintay na lang namin. Ngayon mukhang marami nang available na units sa mga dealerships so I don't think na matagal bago mo makuha yung unit unlike us who had to wait for the shipment coming from Korea. If I were you I'll just order the foglights after I get the unit. Pwede mo pa rin naman ipakabit sa CASA yan after. The Rio actually is a great little car, ang lamang lang ng Vios and City is that they come in with ABS and airbags. If the Rio had those here in the Philippines (without changing the price) I'm thinking sales would rise up quickly.

All set na. Our purchasing manager is finalizing the PO. Complete details na pati yung EX variant nakaspecify then I was reiterating the color Titanium silver. Nagdatingan nga raw kaya available lahat ng color variant. Yung foglamps, I had to include it para macover sa comprehensive insurance. Sa company kasi namin yung pagsecure.
Oo, okay nga sana kung may airbags. Yung old vios at the E variant alam ko walang ABS. Ang attraction naman sa akin for the RIO is the 5 Year/160K km warranty. May pangtrabaho na ko.

Wala pa ko 1k. Just got back from Tarlac and it is now 775kms. Ganun din sabi sakin when everything is properly seated you'll get better fuel mileage.

Napapansin niyo ba every time na mag pre-start check..yung fuel laging parang bawas na (compared to what was left the previous day). For example the previous day naiwan siya pointing to the second to the last bar..pag pre-start na next day..hindi na siya nakapoint dun sa bar..mas kakaunti na yung reported fuel. Iniisip ko kasi kung papacheck ko kung may possible leak yung fuel line.

Also an update on automatic tranny FC, I went to Tagaytay today and approximately got 11 (± 1) km/l..experienced no traffic on the way there but on the way back I got stuck in heavy traffic from the Tagaytay-Nasugbu road all the way to the Tagaytay Rotonda.

Greetings! Rio 2010 M/T owner, too!

In terms of FC, at around 1.4k km., we're averaging around 11 km/L combined city/HW. Hope to get more once break-in is done. We used Caltex Techron Gold.

May question lang po ako, sa mga nakapagpaqoute na ng price ng stock spoiler sa Kia, magkano po kaya? The fog lamps pagkatanong namin nasa 15k nga.

Kaya ba ng 18" wheels ng Rio? Thanks in advance!
