Latest FC ko is 6.6km/liter computed after magpa full tank ako kagabi. Puro city driving na heavy traffic everyday. 1040km odometer reading. I used Petron XCS+.

ouch ang lakas. almost the same as my 4x4 Everest. but really, what can you expect from an SUV eh?

what i'm curious is if this is at par or worse than other brands like the CR-V, Escape, etc?

So on gas I would spend 4k-5k/month, if diesel I would spend 2k or so/month. Over a year, I save 20k+, over 5 years, 100k ...so if the Diesel variant is 100-200k more expensive, parang net even lang, especialy if balak mo magpalit ng car every 5-7 years.
also consider maintenance cost. every PMS it is more expensive to maintain CRDis than thetaII. what more sa kia every 5K pa ang CRDi then every 7.5k lang ang theta. yung power ng R-eVGTs alone is already enough reason for the price difference.

That is unless you really want the premium variant with all the bells and whistles.

i guess for me ok na yung base model for now. barely use my car on weekdays naman, mas for weekend out of towns lang so ok na.

btw, saan kaya makakauha nung rearview mirror with a camera? i would prefer to get that vs. changing the entire head unit. i mount ko na lang iPad dun pag long trips kung gusto manood ng pamilya ng movies
There's no basis para lakihan yung price difference. Same features, same specs. Diesel engine lang nilagay. Like Sorento. 1.795M for the diesel 2WD then 1.695M for the Theta II 2WD. Same features, same specs.

I average 7.6km/L on my CR-V 2.4 4WD. Pag chillax driving I can even peak 8.5km/L. Pag traffic, oh well. 6.9km/L. Medyo may kalakasan talaga sa gas ang Theta II

*ratchet23: Mismo. Sobrang saya pag naka R-eVGT.

I traded in my 18-month old Tucson IX for the new Sportage. Here is the first modification I did:

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLnDuPMLTtA]‪Sportage R OEM Head unit‬‏ - YouTube[/ame]

This Sportage rides better than the Tucson IX, at least if the topic is the suspension and ride comfort. Also the Sportage has better stance and more head and leg room inside. Fuel consumption is better too than the Tucson comparing them on the first 1k mileage.

sir here is the pic of the OEM rear cam for Sportage R.

We produce OEM head units for different car models, we send actual stock HU overseas to create a mould para dash-fit ang HU.

Well, casa eh. Sa eBay may nakita ata akong ganyan dati, di nagkakalayo ang price. That's why it's worth it getting the TOTL variant.

Got to check out the base Sportage at KIA Taytay earlier. Looks as good as it does in pictures, pansin ko lang better ang visibility front and rear ng Tucson. And is it just me or is the interior of the Tucson a bit bigger? Medyo mauuntog ako sa entry/exit sa Sportage, and I'm only just 5'6".

Danda po. Any updates on your Sporty po? Im leaving for the US mid next month & im eyeing K&N Filter, 8' HU, possible H&R Lowering Springs & AEM Cold Air Intake.... Will try to search the net for feedbacks on the AEM & H&R Springs muna.
