ah yes, the brakes are noisy. initially lang naman when wet or during cold temp pero once naginit na mawawala. i expect it to disappear when the pads are broken into. im still around 300km

btw first checkup is at 7500km or in 4mos whichever comes first, but i usually follow by mileage not per month

Re: Brake noise, well hindi na ata mawawala yan as long as you're using the OEM brake pads. Kapag newly washed at cold brakes.

PMS naman, yup 7500km ang 1st PMS ng petrol, then 5000km naman sa R-eVGT. Pero siguro i-take ko yung 1000km PMS. Hmmmm.

Kaso baka matulad sa Sorento na after 6 to 7 months sumunod yung R-eVGT.

It might be too early to ask, but if you have your fuel consumption data, please give us a feedback on it. TIA.

during heavy traffic condition on a saturday i get around 18-20li/100km with average speed of 11kph. route Antipolo-QC-Antipolo, you have to consider yung ahon sa sumulong highway. our place is about 650ft above sealevel pero baka naman na offset lang pagpababa.

over the weekend my wife took it to siera madre hotel in marilake around 90km round trip. FC was around 10+li/100km, with 4 adults and 1 kid on the way, 5 adults and 1 kid + my bike on the way back. (i met her there riding my bike then drove back home). kasya mtbike ko sa likod...just barely. of course kalas front and rear wheel

    on a light-moderate sunday traffic i get around 12-13li/100km.

    so to summarize
    city driving heavy traffic: 5-6km/li
    city driving light-mod traffic: 7-8+km/li
highway: 10+km/li. i think this can still reach around 11-12km/li. puro ahon yung pa siera madre which is about 2500ft above sealevel

do i expect to get better fuel mileage after 1000km?

I was reading the 2010 tucson FC performance thread. If you'll base it on the tucson's performance, which has the same engine, it should improve after 5000km rather than 1000km. Though, there are some who got a good FC after 1000km. Keep us posted on the progress of your FC. Good luck and thanks again.

I have about the same FC (17li/100km) city driving with my Sportage. My usual route is Marikina-Makati-Marikina. I usually travel during morning and evening rush hour heavy traffic with an average speed of about 14 kph. Odometer reading is at 940 Km. Hopefully, the FC improves after the first 1,000 km.

Curiosly, what would be the "Ideal" FC should we target??? Im finding it hard to realize how it would be accurately possible to attain this since our streets are littered day to day with non stop traffic. I guess 2 ways to approach the issue would be the City & Highway FCs. Meaning ang NLEX run & an Edsa end to end run siguro.

Whos up for an EB for an NLEX run this weekend?!?! Hehehehehe....

Depende talaga gaano katagal lumabas yung Customs Stock Report (CSR). Madalas daw mag off line computer ng LTO.
