Actually dapat pareho lang yung ride ng Sportage at Tucson iX kasi iisa suspension nila. Sa weight nalang nagkatalo. Even the interior space is the same, design lang nagkatalo.
Here's what I fear, I have a friend, her Tucson is a GLS 2.0 Theta II (same engine with the Sportage) and it consumes a lot of fuel. Mas matipid pa yung CR-V 2.4L 4WD ko
Kaya parang gusto ko intayin yung CRDi..
BTW ito yung dimensions ng Tucson & Sportage:
Tucson iX:
Wheelbase (in.) 103.9
Length (in.) 173.2
Width (in.) 71.7
Height (in.) 65.2
Sportage R:
Wheelbase (in.) 103.9
Length (in.) 174.8
Width (in.) 73.0
Height (in.) 64.4
I guess may pagka subjective din talaga ang ride and roominess ng Sportage vs. Tucson. Depende sa tao kung ano perception nya.
Hi,
Quote ko lang yung review from another website. Baka masagot ng new owners. Is it true na naging limited ang visibility from the rear view dahil sa sloping roofline?
Review: 2011 Kia Sportage
"Clearly, the new-for-2011 Kia Sportage is an attractive small crossover. The currently en vogue high beltline and low-slung, sloping roofline is present and accounted for, which also means outward visibility for the driver and passengers has been compromised. In the case of the Sportage, the view out back would be acceptable only in an exotic, mid-engined supercar from Italy. We were able to see the front hoods of the cars following us from our rearview mirror, but we couldn't see the face of the driver and had no clue if there were red and blue lights atop the car. Best to get those side mirrors adjusted to your liking."
Ganda talaga ng gray market bro, kaso ang problema daw budget. 1.3M max, ayoko na mag-Tucson GL CRDi sila kasi Tucson nanaman, diba he he he.
oo nga eh, same suspension lang so dapat same feel, baka nagkadiff nalang sa tire pressure. the only way to determine FC between crv and thetaII is if someone here has both, drives the same route everyday and experiences the same traffic for each vehicle otherwise everything is moot haha
the best we can do is post the ave FC on what route and day of the week, that would more or less give the readers a figure
Another reason is the "underpowered feeling".
Pag walang traffic tapos eco mode nasa 12L/100km to 13L/100km average speed is 60km/h to 70km/h. Did the same thing to my CR-V, 8.6km/L yung lumabas sa FC meter. Pero syempre di sobrang accurate yunkailangan ng manual computation ha ha ha.
yes that is true. comparing it with the escape, rav4, crv and forester and even its sibling the tucson, the sportage has the most limited visibility. that should not bother you since the sportage is not a long vehicle. there's a standard reverse assist and you can always have the oem rear camera installed![]()
Had a quick look at a parked Sportage in a basement carpark...she's a beauty!
Something that looks that good with a diesel engine would be a smash hit, IMHO. Do any of you gents know if/when a diesel is coming?
Cheers
Yo! Is there a dual-zone climate control available on the new Sportage? Just asking...
i think same case yan before with 2.0 vs 1.6l debate. our 2.0 mazda's were consuming less than the 1.6. since your crv has a stronger engine, it uses less energy (less fuel) to move the vehicle around kaya rin your data might be accurate
how did tgp compute hp/ton? the sportage is around 1.5tons or less with 166hp so that will be around 110hp/ton unless they measured hp at the wheel
Looks like it's a miscalculation. Top Gear based the Sportage on the Gross vehicle weight (kg) at 1,980 rather than the Curb weight (kg) 1,492 which they did for the CR-V and X-trail.
