Mahirap kung re-paint ng buong panel, eventually mapapansin iba yun color nung buong panel from the other panels. parang ayaw ko magsisi at isipin it's just because I have a chip or two. I guess i'm okay with just covering the chips.

*titan, good luck sa santa fe lighting project! saw a tucson with all LEDs + DRL. he must've bought the tail lamp, head lamp and fog lamp LED packages. ganda!
Forgive the newbie question again. What is a PDR? What is DRL?

Thank you Titan! Where can one get a PDR? Just in case I might need one.

    hello guys,
i'm trying to determine if i should go with the 3M tint that comes standard with the sportage or add additional for the dealership to take off the existing tint and replace with VKool tint.
i've had a 3M tint in my previous car and have no experience with VKool tint. a lot of people have raved about VKool tint though. is it really that good? is it worth it to get Vkool tints for additional fee?

thanks all. Hopefully everything gets settled and i get a unit late next week. I'm going for mineral silver color.

^ The standard 3M tint is Black Chrome (BC35). It's not the best in privacy and heat rejection. As for Vkool, there's the window treatment forums if you're interested to do research. There are different VKool products from their OEM series to their more expensive X or VK series. If you decide to go VKool, it might be better if you go directly to the VKool head office in Manila, may promos pa ata sila.

For reference, I have Huper Optik CS30 on my WS, VKool OEM05 on my side windows (very dark) and 3M BC35 on my rear (didn't want to risk defogger damage). If I had the funds, I'd go for HuperOptik Ceramic Series all-around but I'm going to eventually. If I'm not mistaken, for most cars, the damage is 24k~.

    thanks Sir fleas,
One dealer offered 8k for Vkool tint. i suppose its the cheaper one it'll put on. looks like its best to get Vkool then. will read the 'Window treatment' forums as you suggested. thanks!

The V series are pricey but really bang for the buck. I have tried both clear I think that's V70 which has the most heat rejection that you can feel. The v40 has light tint but with high heat rejection, not as high as the clear tint. For the money, I say it is worth it if you plan keeping your car for more than 5 years.

Planning to replace my OEM tailights and signal lights kasi nabangga ako sa poste nung nag papark ako. Saan kaya ok bumili at mag pa kabit?
Bukas sana ako mag papakabit. May crack sa tail lights and ayaw ko naman mapasukan ng tubig sa loob and sa signal lights. Thanks for the help! :D

Hi. Sorry to butt in. Not to argue about it, but I removed those in less than a month. Allenjo is correct that it protects the paint from deflected pebbles or snow/ice. It does serve its purpose if you regularly drive over pebbles and snow. My reason for removing it is, the sticker will get damage over time due to exposure to external elements, even without those pebble/snow damage. Naturally, I will remove it by that time, and the paint beneath that sticker might not match the rest of the sporty, since it was protected by the sticker. Just my two cents.

I think you could get from Handyman. That's the one in the green container right?

Tapatalk is not working even on my iPad and Android phone. They probably have a problem with their software or server. That's since Sunday afternoon for me.
