600 pesos means nakakarga ka additional 10 liters in hedged fuel against the next price increase. Usually fuel will go up by around 1 peso. So if you do this thing before a price up, you only save around 10 pesos. Probably not worth it, especially is sabi sa taas you risk damaging the fuel hose.

Just drive smoother, be conscious of the instantaneous fuel consumption, and you'd use up less fuel and spend less.

Got my Sportage 2.4 4x4 Delux Red * Kia Pasong Tamo today...around 5pm...straight to Don Bosco for the blessing...then full tank premium...about 2,700.00. Was uncomfortable at first...no radio no aircon...but got the hang out of it when i was at SLEX...nice ride indeed!!! first reading was 9.9L/K...not bad! Picture to follow quite dark when i got home...Question: the 4x4 feature can be disengaged and make it 4x2? Not sure if i got that right...

Congrats.... picture naman dyan... you don't have the choice to force it to 4x2 mode, it automatically select what mode to use, you only have the choice to lock the differential to have 50:50 torque.

I think by default, an AWD system will tend to use its 4x2 configuration on normal conditions to save on fuel. only when the going gets tough will it engage the 4x4. From what I've read, the Sportage Dynamax system better anticipates these conditions, improving traction when you most need it. Would be oh so sweet to have this on those long twisty mountain roads to Baguio or Sagada

and notice the brake dust already? I think ayaw ng Sportage tumakbo ng mabagal, dapat mabilis para hindi nag bi-build up yung brake dust sa rims hehe

Thanks ill give him a call tomorrow. i dont mind not having this boards but my legs fall short going down...and i tip toe going up...

Oh is that what you call brake dust?

Since the Sportage has a mind of her own (mines a girl named BEKI) on the use 4x2 and 4x4...how come some shy away from the AWD?

I guess it's mostly the added weight and cost. If you're mostly driving your Sportage around the Metro you probably won't leverage much the AWD feature.

Still after watching this vid made me think twice about getting the AWD

AWD is a good additional tech if you really need it, like some light off-road drive and if its ok for you on the additional FC, additional maintenance cost and the additional parts that might give you additional trouble someday

Had my step board installed in Maspro (BMW type). I believe I got it for 15K. Prior to installing it, I also checked with my SA and walang ma vo-void sa warranty mo having this installed outside.

My advice lang sir is give a lot of thought before you have this installed. As a step board, it doesn't really serve a purpose just because it has the same height as the "entry" of the sporty. I basically just got it to prevent stone from scratching the sides and for me to have a better reach of the roof when cleaning the car. On the downside, masmahirap lumabas just because there's more area you have to step out of. If it rains, the step board collects more dirt and gets muddy, kaya sometimes pagbaba ko, sumasayad yung back ng leg. In the process nadudumihan yung leg ko or worse yung pants ko.

HI Roksan, u may also check the other stepboard for our Sporty, refer to page 251 un ang ipinalagay ko instead of the BMW type para may comparison ka and may step talaga sya para makababa and makapanhik kang mabuti.

Sir my 2012 sportage is consuming roughly about 4.5-5.5km/l and kahit heavy traffic, dapat hindi naman ganito ka baba.
Whats my sportage's problem kaya? I tried in highway and nakaka 9km/l naman sya. Light lang tapak ko sa gas pero ang baba ng FC ko. Thanks!

Sabi sa casa, ratio 1:8 daw ang 1L/KM daw. Pero mostly sa ka forum natin na sportage 7km/l at least. Thanks!
