Probably warranty issue regarding engine the most critical is the 1st pms which is 7,500kms or 3 months maximum of 4 months daw. Actually in other brands 1,000kms is the 1st pms change oil.

Akala ko sakit ng American cars lang ang may moist ang headlights (like Chevy and Ford - where we have our headlights replaced always - at the cost of the casa). They admit na may problema talaga so they really replace it...
Most korean brands have moist problems and normal daw according to other thread Hyundai spcifically which is also kia. For chevy if it is an optra , cruze , spark , aveo these models are also made in korea which is a Daewoo rebadged as chevy here. I had a ford before did not have any problems regarding moist headlights. What ford model are your referring to?

With my experience this also happens to honda and toyota but after 3 to 5 years. This is the reason why nangingitim ang headlight asssembly natin kapag naluma.

Any sportage owners here experiencing moist headlights? Specifically when it rains or after a car wash?

Tsaka parang first 2 years lang nag-moist yung HLs..

Sana nga sir , Good luck sa atin sportage owners hehe. Lately I am really amazed with korean cars specifically the sonata , elantra , genesis coupe and the 2012 rio.

I love the 6 speed auto tranny of our sportage.

Underpowered daw and unresponsive. I don't think its that bad. Has anybody driven both the Tucson and Sportage 2.0 gas engines to compare power and handling?

Top Gear Reviewed the AWD version kaya mabagal. Heavier kasi tapos 2.0 engine. I think most of the owners here bought the 4x2 version. I am satisfied with the engine response and way better compared to the current 4x2 crv which is really slow. Honda downgraded the engine for the current 4x2 to SOHC compared to the 2nd generation CRV which has a DOHC engine.

Nabigatan Lang sila kasi AWD yung ginamit.

sir they had mine replaced agad.. nanonood ako during the whole process.. pero on the issue, if it's new or from another customer, hehehe... di ko naisip agad yun.. =) the "supposed to be" new set had less moisture compared sa 1st set na parang nabaha.. kaya ok lang.. 06 optra up to know la pa moist, d rin nangitim. =)

Yung HL moisture, day 3 palang nung first DIY wash ko lumabas na agad.

regarding the review of our sportage at topgear.. LOL.. wait for the diesel daw.. hehehe.. para sakin sobrang perfect nitong sportage! before choosing the sportage we checked the new crv which i think is old, asx (too small), montero (pwede kaso too big for our needs),forester (having doubts sa maintenance cost), tucson ix (ok na ok din).. kaso love at first sight sportage.. hehehehe.. tapos mganda rin specs. =)

Thanks sa comments regarding the top gear review. Awd pala kaya siguro mas hirap yung engine. Personally i'm really happy with my sportage, tama kayo, hard to beat for value, features and gorgeous looks :-). Sarap pala ng feeling ng "admiring stares" from bystanders and car enthusiasts alike!
One question- yung theta II ba natin is the same one in the turbo gasoline version (SX) sold in other markets?
By the way, have you seen the sportage thread on kia-forums.com? Lots of interesting discussions there.
Cheers to all my fellow Sportage owners. Hope to meet you guys soon!

Same platform but not exactly the same.

Gasoline Direct injection yung Theta II ng Sportage SX.
