TIA
Contat person: Mr.Jemm Valentino 0905-4211304
Thanks for the replies.
Heavily leaning towards getting the Sportage over non-VGT montero. Hehe. And most of the time naman, kaming dalawa lang ng wife ko nakasakay. For super long trips with kids and yayas, hiramin ko na lang fortuner ng mom ko. Hehe.
Also, since I'm currently averaging 20,000km per year sa current car ko, looks like malaki matitipid ko if I get the diesel variant. Considering the 10 pesos difference in fuel price, in 2 years bawi ko na yung price difference for the unit. Yung big question mark na lang is the maintenance cost difference.
Si Sir SG, lumalabas PhP 1,700.00 sa 7,5000PMS (free labor), then PhP 4,700.00 sa 15,000 PMS. Halos same ba yung cost for the other Sportage gas owners?
For the diesel owners naman, meron na bang nagpa-PMS? Thanks!
Btw, been backreading this thread for almost a week na, medyo malapit ko na matapos from start to end.![]()
I'd suggest the Sportage for you kung 2 kids lang naman. As I always say, buy the car that fits your everyday needs, hindi yung mga rare circumstances lang.
Kung madalas eh 2 lang kayo ng wife mo, why get a 7-seater truck that's nowhere as refined as a Sportage? And ikaw na rin nagsabi, you fit perfectly fine with a Jazz.![]()
Hehe, okay sir.
Non CASA ang maintenance ng diesel sporty ko, just gave you an idea... 8L ang require engine oil, so if you plan to put in a good Fully Synthetic oil, outside price is at least 600 or more, sa CASA i remember they charge something like 700 - 800 / Liter for FS, so sa oil pala will cost you something like 4800 - 6400... oil filter pa, labor, other filter/material etc....
Ask SG kung magano exactly cost ng PMS sa CASA since diesel tucson / sportage share the same engine.
Just called Kia Congressional sir. Tamang tama yung binigay mong range. PhP 742 per liter daw yung FS oil. Ang quote nila for 5K PMS for diesel sportage is PhP 8,200.00![]()
Question, pag 10K, do they allow na top-up lang since 10k naman talaga yung life ng FS oil?
Of course if you care less about the warranty, you can do your own PMS. This way, makakatipid ka talaga. Because you don't pay for the labor and you bypass the miscellaneous fees that are added on top of the bill. Then just bring it over to your trusted shop for checking, in case 20k or whatever. Plus, you can use your own preferred oil -- well, you can also use your own oil too on specific CASAs but most of them, though not all, has a corkage fee.
Or, you can bring it over to a gas station then let them do all the changing -- doing this can also bypass the non-essentials to be done to your car courtesy of CASA.
NighthawkGT tried his Motul until 10000km. Syempre top-up lang dun sa 5000km.
