Pag may cover kasi yung extension sa gilid, na-cocover yung hook for the net. Also, sobrang exacto na yung Packy Poda for the panel that you lift to access the spare tire. Easier to get stuff now in that compartment.
I know exactly what you mean stiffmeister. When I went to Concorde, I came ready with Manila paper tracings of the rear cargo area and the access panel. Kaya I knew right away that the "wings" of bigger model would overhang the access panel sides, and cover the hooks. So I got the small version. The only issue I see about your trimmed bigger version is that now the "walls" that would confine dirt or water to the central area has been opened, and pwede na tumapon outside the area of the cargo mat. But for dry hauling, no problem.

Actually sir, ok pa naman yung central area. It's still intact. The "wings" weren't extensions of the central area. It actually almost exactly like yours, masmahaba lang ng konti

I believe your unit already has a backup camera with a rear mirror monitor. Because if it did not, you can have a backup camera + Head Unit (with GPS, BT. iPod/USB capability, and monitor) installed at certain Kia dealerships for around 32-34K. Since their supplier installs the items onsite at their dealership, your warranty is protected. Quality is good, but prob not the same as Pioneer or Kenwood. PM me if you want to know the dealerships that offer this. Your other option is to go with a stand-alone GPS unit that can be mounted on the dash like the 5 or 7 inch Garmins. Just plug into 12v outlet as needed. But do we actually need GPS here in Manila? I'm pretty good with finding my way around, and if I have problems, I can always ask. I find navigating the Garmin GPS software in my unit tedious. It's more of a novelty for me, and I have yet to actually use it.
Or just get a smartphone with GPS and you can use that Googlemaps lang ok na.

Higher than 8KM/L/? That's a tall order. Where do you live and what route do you drive? I live and work around the las pinas/alabang/bacoor area, and with stop and go traffic (without traffic lights) esp with the jeeps, I get 6-7km/l. But when I pass sucat, or EDSA, FC improves considerably. More so when I do SLEX. But those are infrequent occassions, and my usual route condemns me to FC I'm not too happy with. I guess my average now would be 7km/l after 1300 Kms. The Sportage can give good FC pag smooth and easy driving, and longer trips. But for my kinda place (even worse than city driving I would say), not so good. I'd say my '03 CR-V that was replaced by this new unit gives comparable, if not slightly better FC given my route.

Sorry man but with a 2.4 L AWD, I think you'd have to pick your roads to get that 8

2.4L AWD GAS.... 8km/l ..... only in pure highway lang gaya, normal traffic masaya ka na pag naka 6km/l... may ECO ACTIVE ba ang local TOTL? pag meron, i activate mo it might help somehow...plus around 1.5km/l on the same route without ECO ACTIVE, but driving experience became boring.

or weekend driving pag kaunting traffic i can hit 8km/L especially on Suns. Yup weekday 6km/L. Manila-Baguio 10km/L, maybe even 11 or 12km/L pag di masyado arangkada. Up Kennon, down to 6-8km/L uli

BTW roksan, the figures I gave for my FC is for my 2.0L 2WD. So definetly 2.4L/AWD will even be lower. But most of your travel will be SLEX so you'll prob get the 8km/l you're hoping for, maybe even better

Question lang po mga sir. Lagi po ako full tank whenever I get gas. Whenever papa full tank ako, I do not stop lang when the pump automatically stops. I have the attendants manually add more (ex. Pump stops pumping gas at P2400. I ask the attendant to manually add P600 worth of gas and pay P3000). My rationale for this is I want to maximize having cheaper fuel since tataas din naman yan eventually nowadays.
    1. Is doing this a bad thing?
    2. I noticed that the portion in my tripmeter which tells me how much distance I can travel with the fuel in my tank seems to be off. When the pump automatically stopped, I saw that the tripmeter indicates I can travel approximately 458KM in the amount of gas I have. However, even if nagpadagdag ako ng P600 worth of gas, 458KM pa rin. Has anyone experienced this? Have I screwed up my tripmeter coz lagi ko 'to ginagawa?

    Hello fellow "Sportagers"!

I just got my unit last January and I am glad I made the right decision! I love driving it!
Tanong ko lang, kelan yung first niyo na dinala yung car sa casa? Sabi sa akin ng dealer sa 7,000 kph na raw.
    Is that true?

Yes sir. Wala na yung 1000KM PMS. Your first PMS based on the warranty is 7500KM or 3 months, whichever comes first. However, mas maganda i-follow yung every 7500KM rule.

    Congrats sir with the sporty!

Sir SG - Since nasagad ko na and kinargahan ko pa ng gas, hindi ba inaccurate na yung reading?
