    What item did you buy, a new alternator? What's the brand and amp rating? Was it a direct replacement for the trooper?

    not the whole, just the back cover assembly -- copper windings and the circuitry.

    The part no. is 9723 1513, product description is
    COVER ASM: RR, G

    I got this from isuzu manila for almost 15,000.00
