its the same problem with my trooper....got a 2003 skyroof...thick black smoke..pero lately parang grayish white na sya...i dont know whats causing this..im thinking of replacing the o-ring as preventive maintenance...

trooper experts patulong naman kng ano mgandang gawin sa trooper ko. mausok kase pag idle or trafic o kaya nagppark or pag hinataw ang accelerator.. nalinisan na yng tambutso pero slight lang kase ndi nman binbaba yng muffler. pinadaluyan lang sya ng tubig then apak sa accelerator ( may butas na kase sya para may lalagyan ng host which is ndi dapat kaso ganun na nung nabili ko). marami naman natanggal na carbon. cguro mga 2 days wla syang usok pero after that bumalik uli yng black smoke. napalitan na rin ng oil kaya lang ndi vesco or royal purple tulad ng mga nabasa ko dito sa forum. Delo Gold yng nilagay na oil kaya not sure kng ok lang yng ganun. nalinisan na rin yng air filter pero di pa pinalitan. last time na nakapag long drive ako nwwla nman yng usok lalo na sa expressway. pero now, mausok pa rin yng si trooper. ganito ba tlga si trooper ?

sir pampanga area lang po siya gumagawa...kasi dito lang siya sa pampanga nakatira...ano po ba ang papagawa nyo?

mga sirs, i have a Skyroof Trooper 2003. Nasa 90k+ km na at so far ok pa naman.

ang problem ko lang po ngayon na di ko alam pano ayusin ay yung parang hazard lights nya tuwing may bukas na pinto. Di po ba pag hindi maisara ng maayos yung mga pintoan at hood ay umiilaw yung hazard lights nya. Yung sakin po di na po umiilaw pero naririnig mo pa rin yung tunog ng flasher dun sa may alarm module. Yung clicking sound, di lang po umiilaw yung hazard lights. But if i depress the hazard switch, umiilaw naman sya. Pano kaya ayusin to? By the way, yung alarm nya gumagana pa rin po.

sir naayos naba problema mo? napansin kulang kanina di narin umiilaw ang hazard lights pag open ko ng door and pag lock and unlock using the remote...
update naman sir kung napaayos mu na...

Pacheck nyo lang wiring nyan na naka link sa alarm..its either may nag loose lang or atmost would be papalit lang ng fuse.. Madali lang yan..

hella 450 yata boss pasok siya fabricate kalang ng bracket and you will need a foglight switch and a fuse na ilalagay sa fuse box dun sa engine bay may naka abang narin na wirring yan i coconect nalang ang mga lights and yung switch ang swicth sa jaysons OEM nasa 1000 and yung fuse mga 250 not sure bout the price(ball park figure lang)...ang nabasa ko dati around 3.5in x 6in...not sure search kalang dito...

^ iniisip ko nga pa HID Retrofit na lang ng fog lights para ma-serve talaga niya yung purpose niya. May nakakabit na relay and switch sa trooper na nakuha ko, palit ilaw na lang talaga

BTW, are there any exisiting Trooper Clubs?

Pag di kaya ng Casa they bring it to Bosch center. I've seen a couple of troopers being service at Malabon Diesel King... Other Bosch center is Central Diesel along quezon ave.

Will have my '01 Trup serviced at Isuzu Pasig bukas ng umaga. Sana naman walang horror story na maganap at simpleng change oil and troubleshooting lang ang papagawa ko.

Any reviews for Isuzu Pasig service? Thanks!

wala naman akong horror stories for 10 years...
kumusta check-up mo yesterday.

Ok naman ang change oil sir, kaso they didn't save the appointment sched that I made kaya parang walk in kinalabasan ko. Hassle din kahit papano.

No horror story here pero satisfaction rating is very low. Sanay kasi ako sa isang auto ko na pag PMS, they look for things that might conk out soon. After leaving the service center the alternator and the intake fan for the a/c died. They also forgot to clean the air filter. I called them to ask what happened and medyo defensive sila. Inabutan lang daw sila nung sira na yun. Nag offer naman sila back job pero I opted not to take it.

Looks like no love was shown in their service (even though I was very nice to them given the fact they missed my appointment). Bottomline, mukhang sa iba na ako papa service next time. Dillemma ko ngayon kung anong oil ang gagamitin ko next time.

BTW, nagpalit ako ng 100w all weather HL, ganda ng bato ng ilaw. Matrabaho lang at kailangan pa lagyan ng panibagong relay hehe. Next project is interior overhaul, new carpet and new leather seats

all of my PMS were by appointment. i make sure when i call to repeat my plate# & my time w/c is always 7am in the morning. my bad experience na rin ako kasi sa ibang casa (not isuzu) that they didnt save my appointment.

nakapagpalit na rin ako ng fan for a/c sa ceejay worth 2500. japan 10 blades.

2nd owner ka ba ng trooper? 4jx1 din ba yan?

Yes Sir Benny, 2nd owner na ako. 4jx1 engine. Although I am familiar with the troubles of this engine it is too good of a deal to pass up! Php 380k for 2002 (pala) Trooper with 90k mileage. Lakas ng hatak, semi luxury ang dating sa loob and very comfortable ride (as compared to fortuner and old pajero) hehe

Only thing that needs replacement is the alternator and the a/c fan. The rest kaartehan ko na. Repaint and re-upholster interior.

Regarding Isuzu Pasig, I'll try to have my next change oil sa Rapide na lang muna although medyo takot ako gumamit ng ibang oil besides Multi-Z or Besco e.

sabi nga sa previous thread, tatagal daw ang trooper kung casa maintained. it might be due to oil na ginagamit.
anyway, hope tumagal pa ang trooper natin...

True, having it casa maintained is the prudent choice.

Btw po, can anybody post the required maintenance of our troop? E.g: change atf every X kilometers etc. Di ko kasi sure kung ano mga dapat palitan e.
