Guys, sino na po ang nakapag facelift dito from a 1997 trooper to a 1999 trooper? Saw it sa ibang threads that the following parts needs to be changed:

1.) Headlamps
2.) Grille
3.) Bumper
4.) LH and RH fenders
5.) Hood

I really want to UBS73 look, mine is a UBS69. Just want to know the estimated cost of changing it and where do I find those parts? I seems like the parts that I need are really hard to find.

Try nyo si Area 51 boss, kay PAPI, 09153339955. Shop's located along MRT Ave in Taguig. I bring my trooper for service to him lagi, though mine is a manual tranny though. Happy ako kasi friendly sila and masisipag magtrabaho. As for the price, reasonable naman. Subjective kasi ang mura at mahal hehehe :D

Hi guys! I need your advice.

I recently got home from a 5 hour trip from Zambales. Before that start of the trip I added engine oil (Shell Helix 10w-30) kasi the oil was below the operating level. During the trip wala naman naging problem, normal lang ang takbo pero once I reached Manila biglang nag light yung "Check Engine" indicator. This is the first time that this happened. I have a 2002 3.0 4x2 Isuzu Trooper LS.

What are the probable causes of the "Check Engine" lighting up? And did I make a mistake in adding engine oil? Thanks!

I checked the status of the oil, hindi naman amoy sunog or madumi. I'm thinking kulang lang ang nailagay ko na oil. Medyo below half pa lang siya ng dipstick eh. Salamat sa reply sir!

sir maybe this will help, it happens in my trooper a year ago, the casa replace throttle position sensor for about 5th plus, ganyan din intermittent siya, after changing problem was solved, isuzu pampanga.

Kakapa change oil ko lang sir. Pero andun pa din yung check engine light. I'll have it scanned dito sa Marikina, may nahanap ako na may Tech 2 scanner, 1.8k lang. Hopefully hindi siya serious problem.

By the way, dami ko nababasa na EGR yung problem? Ano po ba yun? Hindi ko pa kabisado itong Trooper as it has only been 5 months since I got it.

I'll keep that in mind Sir Jhun! I think yun nga ang problema, I changed oil and travelled about 20km maganda ang takbo (mas maganda compared to before I changed oil hehe). Will have it scanned later today for the error code.

BTW guys, ano po ba ang recommended bulb for our brake lights? Pundido na pala right brake light ko, ngayon ko lang napansin. Also I was backreading, nakita ko yung retrofit HID, ang ganda! Any reviews for that? Thanks!

update lang po mga sir,

I had my Trooper scanned ang lumabas po ay "No error has been stored in the memory module". Although the check engine light is still there, napapansin ko nawawala siya pag umaabot ng 3k RPM ang sasakyan.

Also, na reach ko na pala ang 150k odo reading, baka kailangan na pa periodic maintenance kaya naka on na check engine hehe

sir. isuzu dmax namin. kapag naka stall or nakastop, lumalabas minsan ang check engine. pero nakatakbo mawawala ung check engine pero minsan e off ko muna ung engine then mwawala ung check engine. wht u think? throttle sensor ung sira? wala tech 2 dito sa province namin

Ganyan din sitwasyon ng akin chief, nawawala pag hataw yung biyahe. Kagaya ngayon, kakadating ko lang dito sa Zambales, halos naka off yung check engine light since NLEX hanggang dito sa amin. Nakaka inis lang yung ilaw haha

nagbayad ka ng pagpapa tech 2 mo? bat hindi ka dumeretso sa casa wala namang bayad or maybe just for a minimal charge lang not 1.8k ang magpa diagnose sa tech 2 sa casa...and siyempre mas kabisado nila ang mga normal range/limits ng trooper all the sensors and injectors makikita kung nasa normal range/limits sila... as for the tail lights bulb buy wurth or bosch palitan mo lahat ng bulbs para pantaypantay ang liwanag pati narin ang parklight bulb ...

overdrive botton - just leave it on. if you turn it off. your tranny won't shift to overdrive on highspeed.

mga sirs, i have a Skyroof Trooper 2003. Nasa 90k+ km na at so far ok pa naman.

ang problem ko lang po ngayon na di ko alam pano ayusin ay yung parang hazard lights nya tuwing may bukas na pinto. Di po ba pag hindi maisara ng maayos yung mga pintoan at hood ay umiilaw yung hazard lights nya. Yung sakin po di na po umiilaw pero naririnig mo pa rin yung tunog ng flasher dun sa may alarm module. Yung clicking sound, di lang po umiilaw yung hazard lights. But if i depress the hazard switch, umiilaw naman sya. Pano kaya ayusin to? By the way, yung alarm nya gumagana pa rin po.
