Sir up lang po ng thread:

question po sa mga guru ng trooper.

Ung officemate ko may trooper (i believe 4jx1 engine kasi 3.0),

Ok naman tumakbo, pero nahihinaan na daw siya sa makina, pero he already clocked around 140k kms and i think 2000 or 2001 model ung kanya.

Paakyat daw ng bridge sa ortigas, hirap ba hirap at sobrang bagal niya.

Question mga sir, eto na ba ung relative sa fuel injection or sa turbo niya? Sorry hindi ko na po mabasa lahat.

Ung abs niya umiilaw paminsanminsan din po, pero nabasa ko na nakukuha sa linis.

1) umiilaw ang oil pressure indicator light when i started kanina ( hindi ko na pinatakbo)
2) palaging dead bat ( kahit ok ung alternator) battery bough 2014 april
3) no power when going uphill

yung Trooper ko ayaw mawala nung ABS warning light. :shocked2: ano kaya problem?

Check all the abs sensor sa apat na wheels im sure isa doon ay may problema, may kamahalan ito lalo na't kapag buo na kasama ang hub...minsan kapag ginamitan mo ng scanner at delete ang DTC Code naaalis and warning light sa dashboard (ABS)...

Most surefire way is through chassis number. Local 3.04x2 Skyroof Troopers have a chassis code of PABUBR73xxxxxxxxx. 3.14x4 Jap Bighorns have JACUBS69xxxxxxxxx. But traces of conversion are almost always very evident, like the 8 way adjustable seat at the right side, A/T shifter with button at the right side, reversed indicator stalks, etc.

My local 4x4 4JG2's chassis number also starts with JACUBS69 . . . , so it is not a sure identification for a surplus. The location of the wipers, car radio antenna (surplus is located on the left front fender), the angle of the side mirrors (surplus left side mirror is positioned more to the inside of the door), surplus 4JG2 engines have EGR, to name a few. HTH

hello trooper owners! ask ko lang kung meron bang lumabas na local trooper with 4jg2 engine 4x4? what years did it came out and ok pa ba to bilhin na 2nd hand car?

Meron bro. I think 1999 and below. They're pretty rare though. Napakatibay kaya konti ang nagbebenta.

thank you. may nagbebenta kasi sa akin. akala ko kung 4jg2 na trooper surplus o converted. sabi kasi nya local talaga yung kanya kaya I had to make sure and ask dito sa forum. ok pa ba ang 97,000 mileage * P300k?

As long as the mileage is authentic, condition is good, and it really is a local unit. 300k is actually a good deal.

kasi ang sabi nila mero daw lumabas na local 4jg2 4x4 BUt with Manual transmission and not matic.

itsura nabinebenta sa akin is like the LS or skyroof without the fender flares and hoodscoop.

Perhaps the unit was originally a gas unit that was converted to diesel?

I'll have it check sa LTO this Monday. makikita naman sa history ng sasakyan kung may change engine ba. Philippines 2000 kasi plate nya at W ang starting. yun din naisip ko baka gas to diesel engine.
