Good Evng. I have an 2003 Isuzu Trooper 4jx1 engine local edition

1) napansin ko na "nagrarattle" ang steering wheel sa trooper ko when i reach more than 70 to 80 km. tapos parang nagvibrate ung mga gilid ng door. considering na due na ang pagpalit ng gulong sa front. pinalitan ko ng 2 new tires sa harap.pinacheck ko wheel alignemnt at camber - ok naman. wlang probelma daw sabi ng yokohama mekaniko. after this i experience steering and door upholstery rattle at 70 km. pero when i release (mawawal ung rattle) then pagtapak ko naman. minsan it will rattle or wala. can u help me this

2) last week, ung trooper sabi ng kapatid ko. iba ung tunog ng engine. so pinatingin namin sa mekaniko. sabi nya. palit air filter (wla na weird sound) at ok na ung takbo fom 0 to 60km.. tapos pagtapak ng gasolina. ayaw mag pick up (takbo agad) kahit nasa 20 to 40km parang hindi kaya ng trooper na takbo agad. pls help

3) kung nakabilad sa init. ayaw talaga lumamig at nasa traffic. pero kung sa gabi at kahit nasa traffic (malamig ung aircon)

4) how will you know na hindi bagay ung atf na ginamit mo?

We have, in fact we replaced our turbo unit kasi sinabi kelangan na daw pero sa totoo lang pwede pa ayusin... Pero we replaced it with a surplus unit for 50k sourced by A1 in Del Monte Ave. Later on we learned na hindi na pala sila matapat, pero the turbo unit they sourced for us sabi nila surplus unit daw pero it looked really new and we had no problems with it naman.

It may be true that the turbo is the problem, but check first with other mechanics to make sure that it really needs replacement. Some good places would include Malabon Diesel and Central Diesel. AFAIK, they have the equipment and the know how to fix Troopers and I believe they should be able to source parts for them, at a much cheaper cost than the casa.

saan po ung central diesel? they fix turbo? how about injector?

AFAIK, uptil 1999 ang Trooper na may 4JG2 engine. Local units are rare in the 2nd hand market though, few want to sell them and resale value is very high.

Hindi, yung mga may brakelight sa bumper at kulay grey ang bumper, yun yung mga 4x4 na 4JX1. Napakakonti lang ang mga ito. The 4JG2 Troopers have silver decals and have the same radiator grille as the last batch 2005 Trooper.

Dahil matibay ang engine, unlike the problematic 4JX1, same reason kung bakit mataas resale value ng 4M40 Pajero.

Magkano ang Trooper as brand-new noong kapanahunan nito, say the 2004-2005 model 4JX1 just before Isuzu ceased its production.

Ang ganda pa rin tignan kahit mga used units na mga nakikita ko. Am always after SUV's that are boxy type, not unlike these days so-called nagsasa-aerodynamic - hindi eroplano nais ko, kundi sasakyan lang. Sana hindi hininto ng Isuzu production nito.

Let's not even mention the seemingly problematic 4JX1-TC engine that can be remedied/rectified naman at a cost, of course - Alam ko na ito. I'm just asking about it's price so that when I come across a 2nd-hand or a used Trooper that is for sale, I have a ballpark figure.

I remember the SRP for the last batch 2005 Trooper was a solid 1.995M. I agree, this is a very nice car. Very solid and reliable too, sans the 4JX1 engine of course. Due to bad reputation, the Trooper's resale value is significantly lower than its same-era competitors. Around 400+k to 600+k at most.

If you are interested in getting one, our Trooper that we traded in to a 2nd hand car dealer is still for sale for 400+k, forgot the exact price they're selling it for already. At least I can confirm the unit's true condition with you.

upon checking our receit 1.593M 03 skyroof edition, we are planning to sell our trooper

as of today 26,750 ang mileage 1st owner kami,

injectors and tps na claim ko na under warranty lastyear may receit din kami for that

isuzu qave ang gumawa.

how much is the resale value of 2003 Isuzu Trooper 4jx1 engine?

base on sulit and olx in can go as low as 300k and as high as 550k(models 01-05)...imho nasa 350k-450k ang reasonable price...imagine because of the problematic 4jx1 ang baba ng resale value mahal pa ang crosswind xuv with the same year model...well at the same time mahal din ang maintenace (consumables)like sa oil kailangan besco(1600/gallon) 2 gallons needed or 10w-30 oil...oil filter daladalawa pa...and mahal talaga parts(non-consumable)...but still kung alam mo lang ang mapagkukuhanan ng murang parts and a mechanic knowledgeable sa 4jx1 mas maganda parin siya i keep...
