Hello dh0n, I had it checked yesterday sa Isuzu Pasig ang feedback nila sakin today is TURBOCHARGER na daw may problem and need to replace na.

Have you guys had any problems with your TURBOCHARGERS before? Ang sakit lang sa bulsa since 100k plus ang price nya. :/ may marecommend ba kayong auto supply for TURBOCHARGERS?

We have, in fact we replaced our turbo unit kasi sinabi kelangan na daw pero sa totoo lang pwede pa ayusin... Pero we replaced it with a surplus unit for 50k sourced by A1 in Del Monte Ave. Later on we learned na hindi na pala sila matapat, pero the turbo unit they sourced for us sabi nila surplus unit daw pero it looked really new and we had no problems with it naman.

It may be true that the turbo is the problem, but check first with other mechanics to make sure that it really needs replacement. Some good places would include Malabon Diesel and Central Diesel. AFAIK, they have the equipment and the know how to fix Troopers and I believe they should be able to source parts for them, at a much cheaper cost than the casa.

turbocharger? no idea about the price..ang alam ko lang pag sira turbocharger ay hindi lang ito hahatak and try to see your tailpipe kung naglalangis as in may tumutulong langis then sira nga turbo mo...sa palagay ko its better to get a surplus nalang kesa dun sa bago na 100k...try mo yung sinabi ni sir gti na pinagkuhanan niya ng turbo...

sir sa palagay kulang the best talaga to diagnose a 4jx1 is thru tech2 and i think only isuzu casa do have it(AFAIK)....

Usually around 70k nasisira ang injectors, marami ng engine overhaul at cylinder head ang nasira because hindi naagapan yung paghalo ng diesel sa langis. I think 2000 or the Euro versions with 4wd are the last CBUs all 4by2 are locally assembled.

sir sa palagay kulang the best talaga to diagnose a 4jx1 is thru tech2 and i think only isuzu casa do have it(AFAIK)....

Apparently, according to Sir Dieseldude, Central Diesel has Tech2. I have been telling the family friend to whom we sold the Trooper to bring it there, but he just doesn't have the time. For more information, you may look into the "Diesel Fuel Injection System Help Desk" thread.

newbie ako dito sa tsikot and I'm from Davao city, i owned an isuzu bighorn xs manual (japan) with 4jg2 engine. i have some queries sana masagot:
1. What might be the problem na when mag trip off ang A/C or off mo na A/C instead na magtaas ang idle ng makina parang na cho-choke ang engine and may sudden vibration; and
2. What is the effect if the timing belt snaps or breaks? Magcollide ba pistons and valves as what will happen to other belt-drive engines like 4d56 of mitsubishi?

need a gl5-lsd for my trooper any brand you can recommend(feedbacks)? rather than of the casa(900/liter)
need also grease for front wheel bearing repack(inner &outer) any brand you can recommend? kaya ba i DIY?

Sirs, baka meron kayo na experience sa trooper nyo na mausok, kapag inaapakan ng malalim ung pedal black smoke ang lumalabas. Wala naman nakita sa tech2 na problema pero hinde normal ung usok nya kasi sa ung ibang troopers naman hinde ganun. Any thoughts? Secondly, baka meron kayo naexperience na intermittent ung oil pressure guage, usually bagong start nasa 5 or 6 pero after 10mins it drops to 1 or 2, again walang nakitang problema sa tech2.

Try a thorough oil change, thorough cleaning of the exhaust, clean/replace all filters, and then finally check the EGR.

" Pumunta kami ng baguio this week end, dun po na dale ung radio, binasag ung salamin sa may pasenger side sa likod ng driver ung maliit lng tpos dinukot na nila ung lock. Hayz kala ko safe sa baguio ndi na din pala, na source out ko na po ung glass kay Aguila Auto glass, 700 for the glass and 300 for installation. Pa tint ko na lng po ito this week end. Saan kayo ako makakabili ng stock head unit for the trooper Pioneer Deh 6550 po ung radio model, Please help

Bat ka pa bibili ulit ng stock head unit? This is a good chance to upgrade! Besides, considering the Trooper's age and the rapid pace of technology, I believe that particular head unit model has long been phased out already...

sir any idea kung saan makakakuha ng keyless entry remote ng trooper...ive tried sa inteco pampanga by order daw its been 3weeks na since nag order ako wala parin...sira na housing and humiwalay na yung susi sa remote..sa keycards naman puro pang toyota and honda meron sila...

Bakit di mo na lang papalitan ng alarm outside the casa? they really are basically the same... 1.2K - 4K yung alarm unit. + mas marami pang features compared to alarms of old...
