sir its better to check your alternator first...anong ginawa sa alternator mo anong rinepair?...pansinin murin yung battery voltage gauge mo kung ano ang reading nung nagkaproblem ang sa akin the reading is below 10amps together with light battery indicator and hand brake light...

good to hear that sir....pero ako nagpalit ako ng buong alternator yun nga lang replacement lang kuha ku siya sa may recto 6500 lang forgot the name of the shop then pina install ko siya sa suking elctrician 300 pesos lang plus the fare and meal ko sa pampanga pa kasi ako all-in all 7500...

yeah mahal yung set ng injector.. almost 80k. nabili namin yung 4jg2 85k with transmission.. sure fresh from japan, kasi friend namin yung importer. no problem with the mounting, kasi as per sa friend namin from isuzu, parehas lang ang mount ng 4jx1 at 4jg2. im planning to change only the engine. may nakausap ako sa may banawe na, pwede daw gamitin yung 4jx1 na transmission sa 4jg2. electrical works? as per checking, heater and rpm lang yung kakapain. madami na din daw nagpapalit sa banawe from 4jx1 to 4jg2. sana mag work. good luck to us. pag naging success, i post our experiment and experience.

tama ka sir marami ng nakapag swap ng 4jx1 to 4jg2...sir its better gamitin mo narin ang transmission ng 4jg2 atleast match talaga sila...sir how much yung labor cost ng mounting ng 4jg2 sa banawe? good luck sir..

sir, have you experience a problem in your temperature gauge sa dashboard ? nasa C lang palagi kahit tumatakbo ang kotse, so pinalitan ko ng temperature sensor, i spent 2200. tapos wala parin. what do you think is the problem? thanx po

good day sir...di ko pa na experience ang ganyan sir better pa check up sa casa with the use of tech2 then gawin nalang sa labas if necessary mahal mag pa gawa sa casa eh...napaka important panaman ng temperature gauge...

by the way anong pinalitan mong temperature sensor? yun bang engine coolant temperature sensor? how about your thermostat?

Looks good! magkano inabot yung fog lamps bro? mukhang good alternative sa plano ko na hella comet 450. Busted kse yung fog lamps ko e.

san po kaya ok pa check yung abs ng trooper(skyroof edition) pwera sa casa? Naka ilaw na kasi yung abs sa dashboard ang sabi sa casa palit whole system daw, asa 120k ata yung qinuote samin nun. Ayaw ko na sana ipagawa sakanila kasi magastos sobra, sa injectors pa lang thrice na napalitan. 15 months after ng napalitan yung injectors bumigay ulit. Ayaw nila icover ng warranty kahit casa maintained so nagpabayad pa din sila.

Oh that. Encountered that before. Chose not to fix it. Apparently, one of the ABS sensors failed, and it's very costly to replace. So since it didn't affect the braking performance (at least not that we've noticed ), we just let it be. If that light bothers you, perhaps you'd like to remove it?

Malakas naman kumagat ang brakes ng Trooper eh, ang laki ng rotors! So far after the ABS light lit up, we have not encountered any situation that needed the use of ABS. Now as for removing the light... I suppose you can go to a car electrician, open up the dash and remove the diode?

Have you tried to clean your wheel speed sensors all 4? Since magnetic pick up siya dikitin ng rebaba.
Just a suggestion.

Meron sa Walco niyan 1500-1800 yata.May technic sa pagpalit niyan para hin mag stuck just remove someof the teeth same as
the one you will remove.

Hi everyone, need help I am experiencing a little rattle/vibration on my AT trans, it happens most of the time like this... during normal cruising let say about 40-60km/h, when going slowdown until stop at "D" position I can feel a little rattle or vibration on my AT trans, so what I do is put it in N or P position so the rattle or vibration will go, is this normal or there is something wrong on the AT? one more thing I spotted wet portion under the trans near the bellhousing. many thanks.

Share lang ng news trooper peeps. My unit just reached 200k ('99 4x4 m/t 4jx1) plus on the odo a few weeks back. Changed oil and timing belt. Everything is okay so far except for the broken fog lamps i havent replaced yet. Im planning to install hella comet 450 series, im just concerned the size and mounting. May nakasubok na ba ng ganitong klase ng lamps?

Everything is okay so far except for the broken fog lamps i havent replaced yet. Im planning to install hella comet 450 series, im just concerned the size and mounting. May nakasubok na ba ng ganitong klase ng lamps?

Goodday Sir wonderingwil, ask ko lang, how much it cost you in timing belt changed, did you also replaced the tensioner?, where the work done, in casa ba or outside, thanks.

Have a suggestion. Buy a mazda 323 fog lamps. Maganda and sealing ng foglamps nito dahil may oring ang bulb holder.
Problematic ang original foglamps ng trooper dahil pinapasukan ng tubig. DIY lang yan. PM mo ako if you need help.

Sir JhunTrooper - I bought the timing belt at Jasons sa Divi area, cost me P4,700 plus 1k labor. About the tensioner hindi na muna ako nagpalit kase upon reaching 200k on the odo, i had the t-belt and tensioner checked. Actually yung t-belt ko medyo ayos pa but i opted to change it na kase mas malaki gastos pag bumigay unexpectedly, yung tensioner naman hindi pa kelangan palitan according to the mechanic. Sinunod ko lang yung nakalagay na schedule sa manual na palitan at 200k odo reading. I had it done by a casa mechanic sa bahay na lang para tipid tips ng konte.

Sir Mon/4JGToosie - Thanks for the info sir, sige subukan ko yun. Update kita pag nakabili nako. Minsan kase yung DIY ang meaning eh "Destroy It Yourself" (to quote sir Benzmizer) hehe. PM kita to ask for instructions regarding installation. Salamat ulit!
