Patanong lang po. Ano ba yung use ng "Power Mode" button sa A/T Trooper? ay silbi ba talaga yan?

use ng "Power Mode" is kapag in demand o kailangan mo ng extra power from the engine. e.g. is when paakyat ka ng bundok i.e baguio, dinedelay nito ang shifting into higher gears para hindi ka mabitin pati na ang makina mo.

ginagamit ko lang ito kapag biyaheng bundok kami

hindi na ito kailangan kapag city driving lang naman.

expect that the FC will increase when "Power Mode" is in use


"Winter Drive" naman is used on winter pero wala naman tayo dito nyan.:bwahaha:

kapag pinindot ang Winter Drive automatically sa 3rd gear ka mag start ng takbo to prevent slipping on sliperry surface pero parang hirap ang makina.

There's a problem with our Trooper for the past 2 years that I've pretty much ignored. The brakes, esp. the rear, are quite noisy. First, the mechanic suggested cleaning the brakes. But the squealing came back after some time. After that we tryed changing all 4 discs, but to my surprise, the noise came back again after some time. But I also noticed that it only squeals when the vehicle is traveling at low speed (10-20km/h) at a slanted surface and the pedal is only stepped on softly. Has anyone experienced this? And why does this happen?

Kasi nagpa kabit ako ng CAI/ racing filter sa Trooper.. sobrang lakas ng higop ng hangin eh.. baka yata may kinalaman dun..

Same here, but for the mean time I decided to somewhat clean my dashboard. see pictures



corny lang yung kulay ng manibela..hehehe, palitan ko yan pag may freetime ulit.

jay, gumanda performance ng Trooper ko nung nagpalagay ako ng open type filter. Nag iba ang tunog ng engine, lumakas ang hatak at tumipid sa krudo..

yes, noticeable increase in engine power.

better FC (not that dramatic improvement)

you could the hissing sound coming from the turbo

bet theres a con, you would clean the filter say ..... every month.


ako every 2 weeks na naglilinis kasi everyday gamit ko ngayon is trooper.

pero sulit naman.

basta get the genuine K&N brand...

ako lang ang gumawa nyan, trial and error lang.
if you have plans to DIY what you need are the following.

nasa Baguio kasi ako, kung nasa manila lang, willing ako tulungan ka.

1. Vinyl leather [pumili ka ng medyo na stretch na material] less than P400 per yard

2. rugby

3. side cutter

4. your guts and ideas...hehehehe


to give you some ideas.. eto sir yung sa may shift stick
