hi guys im newbie here.. i own a isuzu dmax boondock, actually sa dad ko yun kaya lang bibili sya ng pajero tapos ibigay nya sa akin yung dmax,, balak ko sana palitan ng 24" ung mags tapos sounds set up para porma mode lang. any suggestion mga bro/sis

Sayang ang pagiging boondock edition nya pag i-bling mo... go with 16's the MT tires. Badass off-roader look would suit it better.

Pero if you want blings matagtag na masyado ang 24's... 22's would be at the edge and 20's would be safe.

^ kahit nga 18's puwede na eh, hindi naman kasi pang-porma talaga pick-up kaya sayang kung ganyan. Puwede benta niya pick-up at bumili ng sedan.

Hi guys, im newbie here. i like to join this forum because i believe there are too many great minds in here that
can move mountains. by the way, my ride is dmax LS m/t aside from my 2005 honda accord and ninja 250 kawasaki.
i was awaiting for a vgs one with that hood scoop since late last year but i had decided to get the current one because there is no assurance from
isuzu people as to when they will release the new model. but anyway, i'm a happy man riding from all surface of the roads with my new ride. i had just experiencing engine knocking pag ipaandar ko yung new ride ko after ng carwash. any suggestion kung bakit may sound na parang engine knocking? Anyone tried blocking their egr 4jh1 and 4jj1tc engines? Umilaw ba check engine nyo? Any difference sa "hatak" at sa black smoke emmission? Or do you recomend cleaning nalang?

Finally "blocked" my egr on my 4jh1 engine. The check engine light did NOT turned on, power increased
And nawala usok especially on high revs. Next project alcohol inj.. 😃

I already installed my low beam with 9006 is that all right? or i really need to change it to H7?

If you do not follow the manufacturer recommendations, you had better be certain that you know more than the engineers who designed your Isuzu. There is a reason for every specification.

Do yourself a favor, replace with the recommended, correct bulb.

good day to all, i had an experience with my dmax where, at times, when i shift from total stop to 1st gear or 2nd gear the engine roars (for a few seconds and then gone) like the revolution is already maxxed out.. but when i check the rev meter, its only on 1k rpm sometimes less.the gas pedal is only slightly pressed. i tried to find out for myself first by switching off the aircon while driving. after that the strange sound has dissappeared.i only tried it once. then i went to isuzu to have my car checked( belts, hoses, etc).. they only retight the belt. for now, i dont hear the strange sound of my engine. anyone had this experience before? can you please give me advice.. thanks..

This is a real tough one to comment on.

Was it a "rapping" type noise? Air rushing sound? or what????

A few seconds is really a long time......many things come to mind, but we need more info on your vehicle and the noise, please.

If the dealer cured the problem, the tech would be in a better position to answer this one.

sir i believe that the problem was not fixed yet. because just yesterday as i was heading to the mall with my wife. i heard the same sound a again for a few times.. it was more of a 'lions roar' like sound..

Good day to all. Just installed my HID's to the low beam H7 8000k (BRAND XENON HID LAMP) and fog lamps 9006 6000k (BRAND TORCH HID). Then when i tested my HID's at first it was like bluish white then after like 20seconds it turns yellowish white both fog lamps and the left side of the headlight while the right side stays bluish white. My main problem is that the fog lights and the left lowbeam headlight turns yellowish white. Did anybody experience this kind of problem with newly installed HID's? please do help coz Im a bit confused and starting to freak out. and i really need your advice and help to solve my problem..
