* Ry_Tower: Thanks for the defense. It seems to me that hinDMaxiado misunderstood what it really meant for. With due respect to his stature as a TRYING HARD selling his idea, i found nothing offensive on my previous post.
It is my desire not to cross paths with you guys when sharing my opinion in this forum but i apologized to some of you when my words differ from your opinion. People who posted here need not to lecture but rather shared his experiences though we can not discount that there are few who has a dodgy thinking. bato bato sa langit ang matamaan hwag lang magagalit...har har har!!!!

March 30th, 2011 10:29 PM #562I have a 2004 LS 4X2. And I love it. It has served me well. But Isuzu Philippines is screwing the Philippine market. They are giving us old technology, dumping unsold units/engines in our market. Give me a break. They are the masters of diesel technology and they can't tune their VGS to the quality of diesel fuel here? Let's see -- Ford, Toyota, and Mitsubishi can do it. On the higher end, BMW, VOLVO, RANGE ROVER, JEEP and MERCEDES BENZ can do it. Somebody should file a dumping case against Isuzu.

That's a GREAT idea! Why didn't I think of that? Why don't you try? :out:
As you have perfectly put it, there are other brands that are equip with "more superior" and "technologically-advanced" engines than ISUZU, why not sell your 2004 D-Max and get those instead? It's a free world. :cheer2:

March 30th, 2011 11:27 PM #564Like I said, I love my DMAX. When it's done serving me, I will most likely get another DMAX, but not what Isuzu Philippines passes off as brand new. Maybe Isuzu Phil thinks we don't have internet in the Philippines, and we can't see what kind of products they offer in other countries.

Maybe Isuzu Phils is waiting for the all-new model before they introduce the VGS technology. If you're not satisfied with current engine, just buy different brand as easy as that. Madami naman choices. No need to fight like kids, or file a case or whatsoever because of this.

Hi sir Benzmizer - i'd probably get the 4x2 LS but still can't decide between the A/T or M/T. Any suggestion?
Won't wait na dun sa VGS Turbo version engine muka malabo din naman yata talaga dumating dito this year yun.
I spoke to the GM of a certain Company who owns a number of isuzu dealerships and asked him if he has any info of a new isuzu model coming out but he said isuzu phils. is so "malihim" when it comes to that matter. All he knows is that most probably next year daw magkaron ng new release but definitely not this year. He's also not sure kung facelift lang ulit and same engine pa din.
So, i think kukuha na ko this next month kasi atat na atat nako sa dmax. Ok lang kahit dmax-siado basta dmax pa din. Papalit na lang ako pag dumating na finally yung sinasabing VGS version..

It's looking a lot like a certain cruiser with that color scheme.
