    thanks

If your D-Max is still covered by insurance, I would suggest you have the windshield replaced with a brand new one * CASA. The cost of replacing it (parts and labor) would be higher than your participation.

In addition, you have warranty on the workmanship when installed.

    thanks benz.

so basta may crack pwde na claim, tama? nearest casa is isuzu rizal (ayala group)
Ready na affidavit, pics etc, oras nalang pag punta sa casa.

    ty

Yup, go to the nearest ISUZU dealer to you and have the damge estimated. Requirement yun ng insurance company for any claim. Then the adjuster of the insurance company would sked with you a visual inspection of the damage --- to be cross checked with the dealer's estimate. Submit all required docs to insurance company. Wait for the LOA (Letter of Authority) (maybe thru the dealer) and repair.replacement can be done.

    Guys, got some questions here.
I'm interested in the Dmax 4x2 LS. but i like some features of the top of the line boondock edition.

    1. is it possible to ask them to increase the ground clearance from 225 to 235mm like the boondock? or is it cheaper to have it done elsewhere.

    2. can i ask them to upsize the tires to 18" from the stock 16"? do you have any idea how much will it cost? is it possible to trade in the stock 16" for the 18" in tire stores? what is the recommended tire size (18")?

    3. re the vgs engine, is it alot better than the current iteq? when will this be available?

    4. how much will be the cost for the limited slip differential? (this is not available in LS models)

    5. what colors are available for the radikal edition?

As far as I know sir the increased ground clearance of the boondock edition is due only to the larger tires it uses: 265/70-16 on the boondock vs. 245/70-16 on the regular dmax.

(I actually learned that bit of info by asking a similar question on this forum, hehe)

Sure they can but be aware that the vehicle's warranty is at risk if you do. Tiyak mavo-void yan. If you're referring to the dealer changing your rims/tires, yes, they may accept trade in of your stock rims/tires pero tiyak na babaratin lang yan. So i suggest you keep them as spare set mo. Maybe abot ng 50-60k yung new set of 18" rims/tires. This would depend on the brand and finish.

    3. re the vgs engine, is it alot better than the current iteq? when will this be available? Well, it's everyone's guess but personally, I doubt it. The Euro compliance of that engine is high (Euro 4 ata) where our local fuels is only guaranteed to cater to Euro 1 compliant engines. Baka masira lang makina sa local fuel natin dito. And I doubt if ISUZU Philippines would take that risk.

    4. how much will be the cost for the limited slip differential? (this is not available in LS models) Geez, I don't know. I guess "too much" to even think about. Hehehe! I believe the LSD for ISUZU is only available for 4x4 variants.

    5. what colors are available for the radikal edition? Opps, this I don't know. Best to go to the nearest ISUZU dealer to you.

you mean i keep the 16" tires as spare? then if i need to have the unit repair in casa, alisin ko yung 18" and put back the 16"?

is there risk or possibility na masira ang engine or other parts kung mag up size ng wheel to 18"? maganda kasi tignan pag naka 18"

    OT
can you recommend store/shop that sells wheels at very reasonable price? tnx

you mean i keep the 16" tires as spare? then if i need to have the unit repair in casa, alisin ko yung 18" and put back the 16"? Well, that's what others do to go around warranty claims that may be related to change of rim/tire specs. But my actual point for recommending to keep the OEM rims set is becuase babaratin lang yan if you trade them in and you may need to use them in the future. (for example, you may go out of town wherein the area is known for bumps and bad road condition, you might want to swap so as not to compromise your 18" rims/tires)

is there risk or possibility na masira ang engine or other parts kung mag up size ng wheel to 18"? maganda kasi tignan pag naka 18" Can be. Remember, putting bigger rims / tires may add "stress" to the transmission or thinner tires (likely the case since there is increase rim size from 16" to 18") would provide added stress to your suspension parts.

    OT
can you recommend store/shop that sells wheels at very reasonable price? Well, when I replaced my Trooper's rims, I got the rims at Wheel Gallery (along Santolan Ave I believe). But they are not really the "cheapest" rims/tires shop in the Metro. Madami naman siguro diyan particularly in Banawe, etc.

    Hi guys,

My 2005 isuzu dmax ls auto's ABS signs keeps on lighting up. Where is the beat place to have this checked at CASA or any other reputable ISUZU mechanic? Is it possible that the abs module is broken? IF I have to replace it do you guys know how much it would cost, thanks.

best you have it checked sa CASA muna. I don't think they would charge much. Sila kasi may Tech 2 gadget. I think you'd need that to diagnose exactly what's wrong.

I don't know the exact figures but the answer is simple... it's not an asset, ergo, considered to be one of the "lowest" amongst it's competitors kaya di highlighted sa brochure.
