    Heto pala yung sa akin blue D-max at 85,000 km palang odo ---- palaging madumi yan hehe at pinambubundok ko din kahit hindi 4 times 4 hehe (4x4). Naka-Bilstein HD ako (front Trooper shocks at likod D-max 4JJ1-TCX shocks). Maganda lalo na kung kargahan kahit 3 motor pa sa likod. Naka-115,000 km ka na pala hehe. Tatagal at tatagal pa yan kahit pa paabutin mo ng 400,000 km and more

    Sulit naman mga yang standard 4JJ1-TC engine at malakas lalo na sa akyatan, matipid pati kahit panay hataw.... Umaabot naman ng 170 kph yan at mabilis mag-accelerate kahit wastegate turbo lang ;)

    Ang layo na pala ng natakbo ng Dmax niyo, sir. Halos na sulit niyo na ung pinambili niyo diyan.hehe

    Ung EGR kung di niyo pa pinalinis, ipalinis niyo and for sure you'll feel a big difference in performance. Or pwede niyong itry na ipa-blank, kung pwede.

    Or try inquire on the alcohol/water injection.

    My experience when I had my EGR cleaning with Central Diesel is great. Wala namang naging problema after. Pero kung meron kang alam na mas malapit sa inyo na naglilinis ng EGR at a cheaper price, pwede na din siguro doon.

    Twins pala ang Dmax natin, sir, kasi pareho tayo ng kulay and same year nabili. Kaso mas lamang ng 15k kms ung sayo.hehe Pero pareho tayo ng observation na ramdam, no, I mean ramdam na ramdam pa din ang hatak and negative din ang usok. All stock pa ung akin sa lagay na yan.

    Halos same mileage lang pala tayo sir dmac, we also got our dec 2007, same color pa na impulse blue, we're now clocking 82+++. I also have to agree sa 4jj1, power is ample already to compete with other trucks (though might not win) but heck hinde naman pang karera tlga ang pickup. Main purpose is to haul something or someone, and dun magaling and sulit ang dmax.

    Plus i'm very observant sa ibang pick up truck on the road, i always and i mean always see black smoke coming out from the tail pipe ng mga hilux, the new ranger, and strada, but very few sa dmax, i know ours doesn't, kasi pinapa convoy ko ung kaibigan, and i always look on the rear view mirror for sign of black smoke, wala naman (knock on wood).

    Concern ko lang sa dmax is ung ground clearance, mababa sya compared sa 3.0 na hilux at sa new ranger. I dunno if dahil lang sa body kaya nag mukhang mataas ung mga aforementioned pero pag side by side, mas mataas tlga yung side mirror .

    Will changing tires from 245 to 265 have any disadvanatge/s? Like rubbing issues, or bibilis masira kung ano man ang pwedeng masira pag nag increase ako ng tire size.

    I am glad to hear na ok padin ang condition ng Dmax mo. Have you tried blanking your EGR? If I recall, ikaw yung nag post inquiring if anybody has tried blanking their EGR.

    Hindi talaga mausok ang Dmax not unless sira ang EGR or SCV. Pero it helps from time to time, ihataw mo din para matanggal ung carbon deposits and ma exercise ang engine.

    Hi sirs, re the above posts on the mileage of their 4JJ1-TC wastegate turbo D-max, heto naman mga mileage (so far) ng mga nagamit at ginagamit namin old 4JH1-TC D-max:

    Heto mileage noong right-steering 4JH1-TC D-max na gamit namin sa field way back late 2010-early 2011.... Ayaw na ipa-rent out na ng rental company since it was sold to his friend....Magaganda mga old 4JH1-TC D-max (3.0 TD Intercooler) sa rough environment.

    The photo was taken few weeks after our project rented it out in August 2010 - it read 334,072 km




    Ang personal 2004 4JH1-TC nila misis has an odometer reading of 336,633 km so far.... Just finding ways how to post the pic here as i took it sa celphone na di ko makita connector sa PC ahihi





    In comparison, ang 4JJ1-TC wastegate CRDi naman ay plus 85,000 kms palang na-travel so far....

    Yep, all is good pa naman, medyo OC lang ako minsan kaya ang daming tanong. Heheheh.

    Re egr blanking, no i haven't done it yet. madami lang kasi ako nababasa sa ibang forums that they blank their egr sa montero and sa fort, pero sa dmax wala eh.

    I do "italian tune up" once in a while to free up some carbon deposits din.

    I just want a underchassis specialist para matignan ung pick up. I want to visit some shops na trusted like speedyfix, powertorq, et al., kaso hinde ako verse sa mga daan, specially pag lumagpas na ng manila. Hahahah.

    I hope umabot ng ganyang mileage pick up trucks natin like kay boss dmac, hopefully without major repairs/replacements.

    hi to my fellow tsikoteers, im a proud owner of alterra 2005 model 4JJ1-T engine, odo 72k, share ko lang na nalinis ko yon EGR ko, DIY lang using #12 socket range and 3inch extension, dpat sa umaga o pag malimig yon engine para madaling kumilos, i have also blank my EGR using yon original EGR gasket as my pattern, lalong lumakas ang hatak.

    gusto ko din gawin yan..i block egr..saan nakakabili niyan??wala ba negative effects yun??and isa pa guys..pahelp naman saa ako makakabili radiator..ang mahal sa oem na radiator!!nasa 50k!!bakit kaya ang mahal??may ginto ba yun??

    Uy, finally may nakita na din akong naka pag blank ng egr ng dmax. Heheheh.

    Hows the performance?

    When cleaning what chemical/spray do you use? Do you mind posting your steps in cleaning it?
