I have yet to see a projector lens for our DMax model... although I have been contemplating on "converting" the stock.... yun projector lens (from another vehicle) sa mga chopchopan/surplusan sa Pulilan is around P500 each (wala pang tawad)...

kaso napaka limited ng supply, merun akong nakita kaso iisa...tsk.

another dilema would be kung gagawin yon, you will still have to remove the lens cover - which is quite very tricky to do...

tapos the cheapest HID bulb in the market is around P3500 for a pair (china yata yung pero merun 1 year warranty) being sold by a couple in grupo toyota forum.

so it would probably a P5000 project just to convert the lens to HID projector lens...

at the end of the day - BAKET??!!

ang masama nito... while contemplating on the move for an HID fog lamps, napag-isip-isipan ko, why not RELOCATE or SWAP the fogs lamps dun sa signal light position.

yun kasing current signal light (orange bulb on top of the headlight) have better lens direction which I think is better for a fog lamp....plus pag nakakiinis ang kasalubong mo at ayaw nyang is LOW ang beam niya, siguradong "bulag" siya pagsinindi mo ang fogs along with a HIGH beam (kasi eye level na niya halos yun)... lalo na siguro kung HID pa yung relocated fogs.

tapos with regards naman dun sa lower position ng signal light (pag ipinagswap), hindi pa rin naman sobrang baba nito kasi mataas naman ang dmax and there is still the sidemarker lights to add visibility for turning.

pasensya na ang kulit ng utak ko.... pero sa sobrang dami ng trabaho, hindi ko tuloy masimual at tapusin ang mga pending projects ko.

Hi, i also am experiencing the clutch noise and my d-max has just 1400km on it. i'll have it check at the dealer. Because every morning when i start i the nois is very evident but when i step on the clutch the noise is gone.

according dun sa casa (dun ko kasi ipinaayos), they just have to adjust the clutch settings kasi parang (duda ko lang) tumatama yung springs sa isang moving metal part - kaya umiingay

Pumasok Na Din Sa Isip Ko Yung Mga Ideas Mo Wildthing, kaya Lang Maganda Cguro (medyo Magastos Nga Lang) ,bili Ka Na Muna Sa Capalangan Ng Stock Na Headlight Ng Dmax, tapos Yun Ang Pagpraktisan Mo Para Kung Di Maganda Kalabasan You Still Have Your Orig Headlights.yung Sa Signal Light Naman Pwede Yun Ilipat Cguro, kaya Lang Hid Dapat Kasi Baka Umitim Lens Kapag Fog Lamp Di Ba?

wala pang gumawa ng ganya sa DMax. Pero if I were to convert my 4x2 DMax to 4x4 ang kukuhaan ko ng "donor parts" ay probably yung LC70/prado box type - rather than an isuzu bighorn.

I am sure this is going to be one hell of an expensive trial and error project - with a bottomline of "not practical".

Hello mga Dmax owners, nice to have discovered this forum, meron lang po akong inquiry sa mga Dmax experts, pwede ba malaman ang performance nang 2007 Dmax LT 4x2 unit with 4JA1-L engine in terms of handling and FC? balak kasi namin bumili nito, sana meron makapagbigay nang feedback para maka pag decide na kami, medyo limited kasi budget, Dmax LT lang kaya hehehe...other option is hilux J, thanks.
