Hey thanks Memphs! But I'm really bent on shifting my front shocks to OMEs next month--I think the stock shocks can still last until that time. Maybe, the back shocks can be extended for a few more months, if you will sell it to me
Have any idea how much the front OMEs now cost?

July 23rd, 2008 10:10 PM #3902does anyone here have experience upgrading his air filter to a free flow?
can someone give feedback -- is that a good idea??
if already done, what was the cost? the benefits / disadvantages of such a move?

Some of us have installed cone type K&N's including myself. Improved acceleration, fuel economy is practically the same. Free flow filters are alright to use if you don't drive into extremely dusty conditions but then if you must, you'll have to wash/oil them more frequently.
From what I also learned, it would be better if you get the drop-in type so that you can suck cooler air from outside the engine bay as compared to the cone type. Price ranges (for K&Ns) can be at P4,500 to as much as P5,000 depending on where you buy/install it. Hope this helps
If you are pertaining to the one with that engine and All New Body which is rumored to be similar to the Chevy Colorado, then that it might be the one they are set to release in late next year or early 2010.

July 26th, 2008 03:57 PM #3906Guys, can I officially join this thread? I wanted to join before but I was hesitant since I was still undecided on what pickup to choose. After a very long contemplation, I have finally arrived with my decision to buy the dmax. I am so excited to ride that very gorgeous pickup and feel how it runs but I have to wait for about 3 days because they still need to order the color red. I know that this is a great truck and by joining this thread, I would also be one of the proud owners of the dmax. Thanks guys.
