Hi guys! Here's my official take on my new set of OMEs. My family went to Bacolod for the weekend and all my passengers were all smiles
.
Ang ganda ng rebound and handling. I only had 2 duffle bags as cargo sa likod so those don't count to dampen the rear. The first one to observe the difference was the wifey, she even offered to drive halfway of the 220km journey. Sarap ihataw!
In a particular town where ARB and I dread because of the ripple like asphalt finish and jabbing potholes, my Max practically breezed through it, blunting the potholes. Unlike before, I felt like I had more control at the wheel since it wouldn't sway as much when it was met with body jarring rough road surfaces.
But hey, it ain't "car like" ok, as some of you might expect. I don't feel the need to invert the last leaf kasi ok na ok talaga ang ride. Get a set pronto! It's worth every penny! I sh#t you not.
Jubilum - is your Dmax silver also? Ikaw ata yung pumunta kanina sa shop ng friend ko asking about the AVT subs/sounds set-up. He told me kanina, he said na "the guy read about this in the internet daw" so I guess wala ng iba hehe. Di ba taga Tanjay ka?
I got my Max from Isuzu Cebu, I also don't like Mandaue.
Guys ARB and I made a startling discovery while we were installing my shocks: My/Our fuel tank is made outa plastic(?). Makes me wanna bolt on a steel plate for a bit of insurance. But then, plastic or rubberized fuel tanks are not uncommon today. I guess that it's definitely much sturdier than our average plastice containers otherwise it wouldn't be able to withstand the diesel that it contains.

April 17th, 2007 09:45 PM #2125anong klaseng OME (partnumber) yan? and how much ang cost roughly?
btw, I also have discovered that the rear lock would not be that easy to install a pneumatic lock .... yung parang pang keyless entry... kasi kakaiba ang mechanism of locking nito.
I have to think about how to make it work pa.
