yup, kasya 2-din. yun 05 model, sa kin, is 1-din clarion. the other 1 din is a storage bin. bale, mawawalan ka lang ng storage bin under the HU.

I just called AUTOBACS Banaue. 58K php daw ung HU. puede na. Kaso si commander na lang ang problema. huhu. baka hindi ako payagan..

JVC also has a 2-din DVD monitor. mga 65k.


or you can use this DVD player, has USB port for use with flashcard, ipod, laptop and other. pair it with a hide away monitor for 50k set.



may AVX2 rin, it has small screen na built in.

im planning to make an aero style grille... but made out of metal nga lng para madali ayosin and repaint... but im still budgeting on it.. mejo gagstos tlaga... hehehehe.... im trying to make ganun na grill sa pic but the holes sa screen is too big... and im gona use industrial type na metal screen like wat i did sa civic ko, not yung chicken wire... hahahaha.... ewan ko lang kung mahalata nyo ba ang metal screen sa bumper ng civic pic... hehehehehe.... wats your opinion guys?

2dmax, forgot to tell you... check the mounting brackets pala before you buy. I had an experience back then, although different car and different situation. I switched from 2-din to 1-din I needed to buy some brackets for it, and special order from casa. yun clarion ko ay stock HU ng 05 model which is ok na rin hehehe. so switching from 1din to 2din might need different mounting brackets. i think the 03 and 04 dmax models have 2-din clarion radio, atleast you have orig parts to order for your upgrade. ok na yun price ng HU mo! hmmm... tanong mo kung 2 bibilhin baka pede magbigay ng discount autobacs? maybe from 58 to 50k each for two items? hehehe

Jason, My wheels are only 16 same as stock pero labas nga sya(offset?) coupled with dunlop A/T's only. forgot the price. i got it waaayay back then, a couple of years ago. I traded in my stock tires. kaninis minsan(im a detailing freak), running over some water/mud pubbles causes unwanted splashes and dirt onto the body hehehe.

jarhead, the grill around 3k ata. kasama na paint. try mo rin kaya yun parang j-type grill ng rav4j? not sure if you might like it...

cardo-- ano size ng mags mo? gano kalapad yan? hindi naka offest ang mags ko but mejo malapad na sa stock rims... ano size ng gulong mo? wala ba prob sa takbo ng dmax? pwede rin ganyan na grill but im still looking kung san makabili ng ganun na srceen eh...

hey guys,, meron ba sa inyo meron vibration sa dashboard? lumabas sakin ngayon lng... but while im on idle nga lng.. kung patakbohin naman wala, kahit sa mga uneven roads....

How much inabot sa 1DIN bracket na binili mo sa CASA? ung 2Din bracket mo ba nasa iyo pa?. bilhin ko na lng sa yo para mas mura.. hehe

2dmax-- pano kinabit ang grill mo? is it screwed on? or utilized ang plasctic lock ng stock grill mo?

jarhead, same size yun rubber ko with the stock rubber. dont know the offset/spec of the wheels sorry. I tried slightly larger bridgestone A/Ts too pero tumatama nuon sa mudguards(i guess bec. of the offest). size 255/70
16's but can't do full turn. so I went back to 245/70 16 dunlops.

Ang dream mags ko talaga sa dmax is Volk racing 18's... bronze color! hmmm.. mga 200K yata yun e. mahal.

did you try the Bridgestone 694 A/t, i believe its size is 265/16/70.

if it is, akala ko good fit sa dmax ito since i see a lot of them using bridgestone A/ts. planning to use them when my orig tires are up for replacement. pero dnt want new tires to affect turning radius, its kinda hard to make a small uturn with the dmax as is.

I dont know what the installers problem with the bracket, but we have done a lot of d-max from 2 din to 1 din and from 1 din to 2 din or 1 din to 2 1 dins using the factory bracket. no need to change.

Yup malamang sa mags mo yan. A 265/70/16 at tires should be fine.

Hay buhay, busted na 1 foglight bulb ko. Palitan ko na rin ng Yellow lights (Narva na!). Kaso gastos nanamannnn!

yup, yun mags nga and cause bakit tumatama sa mudguards... its the offset. so I just gave up the tires, rather than the mags can't give up the mags...

arb, nice to hear no change in mounting brackets. atleast costs can now be reallocated to other purchases hehehe

oks lang yan. atleast now you have a reason to buy something new and better(albiet more expensive) hehehe. kaya ako, I always use my stuff. If it gets broken, then buy something new hehehe. I have a concrete reason to upgrade and it lessens the risk of disapproval by the wifey

my kasama na siyang brackets ung grill ko. no need to modify anything. parang plug and play. tapos ung mga plastic clip hindi na kailangan..

pati rin ung isang foglight ko busted na rin. i'm thinking na mayrong konting minor ectrical problem sa dmax. also ung DOME LIGHT ko, bigla na lang ayaw umilaw, akala ko pundi na, but after 1 month akalain mo namang sumindi na naman, and now ayaw na namang umilaw..

With regards to the foglights, ganyan talaga siguro kasi yung trooper namin noon 10k palang din tinatakbo pundido na. Yung dome lights ko ok pa naman. Baka maluwag lang sayo.
