IMO hindi naman yata dapat lumakas ang fuel consumption kase hindi naman nagdagdag ng fuel injection kundi air flow lang... yung acceleration/hatak pwedeng mapansing nag-iba ng konti yan pero kung hindi naman mineasure yung FC talaga before and after installing the filter IMO psychological lang na tumaas FC mo... wala naman siguro long term effect sa makina yan...
[quote=red16;1747598]IMO i think lumuwag lang talaga yung spring or connection nung lock, kase saamin naman hindi namana nasira yung lock kahit puro bagsak ang pagsara sa hood... ang delikado kase sa pag-press ng hood is magkaroon ng dent...
Based from my personal observation, most Crosswinds are CASA maintained during it's warranty period. After the warranty has lapsed, that is the time they opt to have the vehicle done out on other shops. But personally, I would still recommend to have CASA do maintenance despite past warranty period. They have certain "checks" that they do on certain mileage.
My Trooper is 6 years old.... 4 years past it's warranty but I still have CASA maintain it. It gives me peace of mind.
Sir Tholits thank you for posting the specs of the rim, i went again to the shop where i found that rim and a friend of mine told me, it would be much nicer if i will look for a 17" or 18" Rim along a set of tires. My only question is what size of tires should i fit on those rim sizes for it not to affect with the change? If our OEM Wheel set is 205/65/R15 what should it be for R17 or R18 rims? Thanks for any feedback.
Thank you master benz, well at least you have given me an idea...i will find out from some tire experts here if those size are ideal and economical to use in terms of fuel consumption. Because they said that the wider the tires are the more you step on the gas pedal pump up some horse power to accelerate your car. Para daw kasi yang flat footed kapag malapad ang tires hirap tumakbo at kung nakatip-toe naman it can run easier during acceleration...
*baseliner, i think you have a wise decision, since you got the newer model of rims, if i do have those kind of rims on my ride i would do the same...kaso old model kasi yung sa akin kaya papalitan ko, it will not look good once i upgrade my ride to 2010 look. OEM 2003 stock rims kasi yung nakakabit ngayon.
Again, thanks much for the feedback mga masters...:D
good evening mga guru's.. ask ko lang po kung saan pwede mag pa gawa ng remote ng alarm natin.. nabasa kasi sa ulan yung sa akin buti nlang naitago ko yung spare.. TIA
+1 to this. Di ko naman nilalahat but more often than not, iba oo lang ng oo makabenta lang. This happened to my bro-in-law before when he liked a certain rim design. Yung shop salpak naman agad at oo ng oo di naman pala tama yung offset. Ayun, panay sayad sa fender well yung goma.... punit!
The concervative side in me says stick with the OEM. At the most, palitan mo ng pang '05-newer na Crosswind rims mo (since yours is a '03, right). Yun na yung "upgrade" mo. OEM na dating, wala pang compromise sa ride and FC. To top it all, ang mahal na ng mga goma ngayon. The thinner and bigger the diameter, the more expensive it is!
Pansin ko lang pag nagbbreak ako parang kumakabig yung manubela pakaliwa.. hmm. normal lang ba yun o alignment issue lang yun?
Tama si Sir Benz, most likely di alignment issue yan, kc last week, ganyan din nangyari sa 09'xuv ko, if apply break, kumakabig din, sa kanan naman..nang pacheck ko alignment, ok nman, may inaadjust lng cla sa ilalim, yon bar n katabi ng stabilizer bar, if you notice yon bar n may nut s dulo, just beneath the radiator, for more convenient to work, you must need to remove the lower front bumper and you will see that nut, my mechanic was just only tightened the right bar, and the kabig was gone, for your part, just try to tightened the left part, and of course, you need also to test drive for exact adjustment, just my recommendations...
