bro napansin ko lang na white smoke sha if todo tapak ko sa accelerator. kung normal tapak lang wala naman white smoke. Ours is a 2008 crosswind, 15k plus na tinakbo sa odo. kelangan na ba palinis injectors nito?

Ung white smoke ba during warm up lng or kahit mainit n ang makina? Hindi b nag ooverheat ang makina? check u po ung coolant level nu bka mababa n, white smoke means nagsusunog kna ng coolant at dahil sa tubig na humalo sa fuel ang makina ay mnginginig. could be cylinder head gasket warped n po.

The key word here is "Modification".

If you repair or replace a part with an original "Factory" part, that is not a modification. In such a case you should not adjust your ECU.
If you change some original part from "Stock" , such as a bigger or more powerful turbocharger, or make adjustments such as a different fuel type or fuel pressure or volume flow to alter the performance of your engine from the factory specifications, then you are making "Modifications" and should reset you ECU.

The factory settings of your ECU are based on "average" uses. If you want to increase fuel economy, for instance, at the expense of power, you can make an adjustment to your ECU to achieve that (or vice versa).

If you wish me to elaborate, please ask---I'm new here, but I want to be a helpful friend.

Any adjustment you make has a price! Let us not forget that.

Just a side note: I know one mechanic that is claiming that he can reset or overwrite the default setting of a car.He said he can remove the delay(response time when we press the gas,normally it will take time before the vehicle moves)

Thanks again BENZ.... Mga bossing, just wanna know, pagka binaba ang gearbox ng xwind to fix it, would there be any misalignment sa wheel pgkabalik ng gearbox???.. necessary ba na ipa align ko e2?? chaka meron na ngbebenta ng aircon treatment d2 stin to sanitize the a/c?

No. No need to align unless you touch the tie rod (suspension-related)

Sanitize the aircon? Just have it cleaned. Aircon shops would use nitro to clean the aircon lines --- removing the grime and foul smell presently stuck in it.

This is basically true. For example;
He can reset the transmission to respond sooner, but then, the transmission could require power when the engine is "cold", and/or the turbo is not quite ready. The factory settings take care of such possibilities.

I would be pleased to elaborate.

However this is a subject with many twists and turns and is too complicated for a quick answer to all possibilities.

Let us be specific to you.

What vehicle do you have; year, engine, mileage (odometer)?

What do you wish to achieve? increased fuel mileage or, more acceleration or, more power etc?

You cannot have the all. If you increase one, you will probably decrease the other two.

Tell me more about you and how you drive (high altitudes, sea levels, highway, city etc) and, I will respond.

Does the engine turn when you try starting it?

baka daw hindi starter ang problem, kasi pag switch mo wala yung heater indicator. ok naman daw yung starter . san kaya yung heater nito. di rin kabisado ng mekaniko eh.

Bro. malabo yang mekaniko mo, maghanap ka ng magaling na mekaniko kasi walang heater ang crosswind. Kaya nga direct injection eh.
