I found this illustration about the aircon controller.

I don't see any manual mechanism /spring controlling the air duct, all I see is wires with connector.. I hope this is compatible towards the upgrade to dial type controller. anyway let's see, the illustration may not be complete.

Hi guys. I got a 2005 XT. I noticed that the engine sounds louder than that of the sportivo when they have the same engine (correct me if i am wrong). Now, how can I make the engine not that loud?

thanks in advance!

Which year is the Sportivo from which you compared your '05 XT?

Check the fusebox for possible busted fuses. It's located at the righthand side of the dashboard (driverside, can be seen when you open the door)

Planning to low down a little bit sa front. (reason po kasi parating loaded yung likod espicially sa out of trip namin & also maka dagdag sa speed nya.)

(Customers Cradle * Shell Times, LP)

(Hydraulic Lift)

Now regarding sa kung "maganda" ang service nila... well, ikaw ang makapagsabi nyan
subjective ang maganda na service not unless we enumerate and
detail on how they clean, the tools they use, the soap and water
they use for spraying, and also their attitude while doing the activity.

(Scrubbing the underchasis)

Nung nagpa-underwash ako, I didn't stay in their customer's lounge
I opted to stay out of the lounge and watch the cleaning process.
I also would like to see the condition of the underchasis...before it
was washed and after the wash, that's the reason why I took pictures.
It's not everyday that you get to see the bottom part of your ride so
you might as well take this time to do visual checks... baka may makita
kayong something that's cracking, breaking, fading, or something that's
not suppose to be there.

(After Rinsing...Front End)

(After Rinsing...Rear End)

Well, this is just me... Others in the forum might have some idea where
they bring their rides for underwash...

By the way, I really took my time during the underwash and here are some of
the photos you'd be able to capture during this activity:

Indeed as an owner, you don't get to see these pictures everyday...hehehe

Sir Abre...Siguradong less than 500 pesos....
meaning (Underwash, Engine wash, Body wash)... O, eto kasama na
rin yung Change oil at tune-up...

Sir Red, its your call really... but if I were in your shoes, I would not hesitate
having the wheels aligned dahil:
1. Before Torsion Adjustment ganito yung wheels mo (I--I)
2. After Torsion Adjustment maging ganito yung wheels (\--/) or (/--\)
3. Para after alignment back to ganito ka uli (I--I)

tiyak kasi na pag hinayaan nating di naka-align, well baka
may ibang sisirain pa.... and last reason why I would opt
for alignment after torsion bar adjustment would be "PEACE OF MIND"

...no worries sir red, noon I did have thoughts of cranking up those torsion
bars before I made my tire set replacement.
Kaso, baligtad yung intention ko sa intention mo...mine would be to increase
ride height not "lowering" as what I have understood from your previous post.

I have this crazy idea kasi na gamitan ng wider tires sa XTi ko...hahaha

I realized the following and had to prepare for the worst:

1. Wider tires readily available for 15's would be 215, 225, 235...
I have read that 235 would be too much for XT-XTi variants, magkakaroon
daw ng sabit at complications sa wheelwell plus issues when full load.
So I contemplated on the 225s and 215s na lang... dahil may nakakagawa na nun
with little or negligible complaints. I PM'ed some forumers here to solicit their ideas
on my wide tire replacement hehehe.

2. So I learned that gunning for the 225s and 215s using an aspect ratio of either "65" or "70"
would mean a 1" to 2" increase in the overall diameter from stock size of 205/65R15...and

3. Last realization would be...ANG GASTOS PALA para ipagsabay-sabay ito.
(Tire change/Torsion adjustment/Rear suspension lift/Wheel Alignment/PMS activities for 80kms)

So I again compromised to a 215/65R15 or 215/70R15 para sure akong wala akong maging
problema sa clearances that would necessitate the torsion bar cranking and the suspension
lift adjustment...but again, nung nag-canvass at nagtabulate na ako ng mga quotations for the
215s from various sources sa vicinity ng LAS PINAS-ALABANG- SUCAT area, I finally realized
I had to change my preference to a 205/70 so that I could have a bit of increase in the ride
height at the least cost.

And besides I only have enough money for the 205/70R15 set of tires + Other PMS activities
such as Tune-up and Change oil...haaaaay, Kumpromiso...

Kaya end result...
NO TORSION BAR CRANK,
NO SUSPENSION LIFT,
NO 235s Tires,
NO 225s Tires,
NO 215s Tires,
Tires changed from 205/65R15 (Overall Diameter=647mm) to 270/65R15 (Overall Diameter=669mm)
