Kaso, baligtad yung intention ko sa intention mo...mine would be to increase
ride height not "lowering" as what I have understood from your previous post.

I have this crazy idea kasi na gamitan ng wider tires sa XTi ko...hahaha

I realized the following and had to prepare for the worst:

    1. Wider tires readily available for 15's would be 215, 225, 235...
I have read that 235 would be too much for XT-XTi variants, magkakaroon
daw ng sabit at complications sa wheelwell plus issues when full load.
So I contemplated on the 225s and 215s na lang... dahil may nakakagawa na nun
with little or negligible complaints. I PM'ed some forumers here to solicit their ideas
on my wide tire replacement hehehe.

    2. So I learned that gunning for the 225s and 215s using an aspect ratio of either "65" or "70"
would mean a 1" to 2" increase in the overall diameter from stock size of 205/65R15...and

    3. Last realization would be...ANG GASTOS PALA para ipagsabay-sabay ito.
    (Tire change/Torsion adjustment/Rear suspension lift/Wheel Alignment/PMS activities for 80kms)

So I again compromised to a 215/65R15 or 215/70R15 para sure akong wala akong maging
problema sa clearances that would necessitate the torsion bar cranking and the suspension
lift adjustment...but again, nung nag-canvass at nagtabulate na ako ng mga quotations for the
215s from various sources sa vicinity ng LAS PINAS-ALABANG- SUCAT area, I finally realized
I had to change my preference to a 205/70 so that I could have a bit of increase in the ride
    height at the least cost.

And besides I only have enough money for the 205/70R15 set of tires + Other PMS activities
such as Tune-up and Change oil...haaaaay, Kumpromiso...

    Kaya end result...
    NO TORSION BAR CRANK,
    NO SUSPENSION LIFT,
    NO 235s Tires,
    NO 225s Tires,
    NO 215s Tires,
Tires changed from 205/65R15 (Overall Diameter=647mm) to 270/65R15 (Overall Diameter=669mm)

I thought about that too.... for quite some time. Directly compared engines only to be frustrated until I found one distinct difference ---- Euro compliance.

I realized that Euro 0 compliant 4JA1 are "noisier" than Euro compliant 4JA1 engines. And I believe 4JA1 euro compliance began '08.

.... then again, I may be wrong.

Hmmm, if there is anything, it breaks the monotony thru the add ons --- resulting a "different look" feeling. But I personally like the "stock" look better.

I believe all Ayala-owned Isuzu dealers has this. (Alabang, Pasig, Cavite and Rizal)

Nakakita narin ako ng ganyang variant, pogi naman pero medyo weird-looking lang yung "bumper" sa likod with straight exhaust pipe. hehe just my opinion.

Guys pasingit naman ng concern ko. Do you think it's normal na nauubos yung tubig sa water reservoir ng radiator every 1-2mos? Nung friday traffic sa edsa, buti nalang I checked it first. Kasi pagkita ko empty talaga. Hingi naman ako opinion niyo guys? Thanks

Have it checked at baka may leak lang na di mo nakikita o nacha-chambahan. Mahirap maubusan ng tubig..... disaster lurks.

Relax lang. Just have it double checked and it does not automatically mean "expense" right away. Preventive measures lang bro.

Oo nga bro, mahirap talaga abutan sa kalye. Kaso lang kasi, mga 3x narin ako nagpabalik-balik sa talyer this year with the same problem.

May breather di ba? baka barado. correct me if i'm wrong.

i just would like to share again my experience regarding leaks in the radiator. mine happened a more than a year ago when i got my 2010 m/t sportivo & i noticed the same thing with the reservior. i checked for leaks below the engine & radiator but didn't find any leak. i just noticed that there were white spots on the air filter cover & discovered that when the engine is running there was this small spray coming from a tiny hole somwhere on the radiator so i had the radiator replaced since it was still under warranty.

Hahaha... Sportiv08, yung rustproofing or undercoating naman ang ayokong
i-witness without the Chemical Mask. Grabe ang fumes nung epoxy based
or rubberized paint na ilalagay nila sa underchasis... (Naalala ko lang nung nag
stripping ako ng existing paint ng mags ng motor using "Stripsol" after a whole
day scraping and scrubbing...nako para akong trinangkaso. Then after a week

By the way, dun sa pinagdalhan ko ng underwash, they also offered
me to do "Undercoating" for a fee of 3,000 but I didn't care to elaborate kasi
may mahabang holiday hahaha... siyempre pa-underwash muna bago mag

yung seal nung insulation at malambot lambot pa yung insulation at lapat
