    I think i broke the switch located at the left side below the instrument panel. ito yung naiikot. for some reason hindi sya naka full left turn kahapon while im driving. kaya inikot ko sya to full left. napwersa ko ata nung nag full left na. i heard a 'tick' sound from the switch ayun unlimited turning na sya. i think its not working anymore.

    pano ba ito ibalik sa dati.

    diba yung idle switch ito... hindi ko sure kung humihinto yun pag iniikot counterclockwise ehh try mo pag start-up kung gumagana sya turn mo clockwise...

    yes AFAIK may stop yung turn nya sa left and right. lagi ko sya chinecheck kasi si erpats nakakalimutan minsan ibalik sa full left. napwersa ko lang nung time na yun kaya nasira ko

    The idle knob must be at the leftmost turn (don't worry, there is a stop) to disable. When you turn it going to the right, idle goes up. No worry to "overturn" it to the right, for sure, the engine would be revving way too much for you to take before it even reaches it's rightmost.

    yup, tama procedure mo, ganyan din ginagawa ko....

    regarding sa disc brake, mas mganda cguro bro kung ipa machine press mo na lang or kung may budget palitan mo na.....

    50/50 naman sa akin bro...3ltrs coolant...and 3ltrs distilled water....nagpalit ako sa umaga,para malamig ang makina,pagka drain ko,una kong nilagay yung coolant,then yung distilled water..ganun din sa reservoir,50/50....hehe...hinahanap ko yung drain plug ng coolant sa may engine...wala naman,talagang sa ilalim lang ng radiator yung drain plug...

    In our case, idle wont go up if you just turn the knob clockwise; you have to step on the gas as you turn it. Yung inyo ba ganito din?

    i dont know if im wrong pero as far as i remember, turning the knob clockwise is enough. naririnig ko nang mas umiingay yung engine.

    +1. Even without stepping on the accelerator pedal, idle should go up when idle knob is turned clockwise.

    Oh, you "might" just assume it won't turn clockwise because it turns "harder" than turning counter-clockwise. It's normal. Try it again.

    Yeah lalo na if they release it with the 2.5 CRDI engine in place maski na sa Sportivo variants man lang. Puurfect na. 1.2++ million pesos is just too much for a powerplant na pang-IPV.

    Mga peeps! tulong nmn. my leak ung ps gearbox ko nanaman(before we i only replaced the oil seal sa shaft). i was thinking of buying an OEM repair kit but my problem is i dont know kung san ko dadalin at ipapagawa.. i'm located in North Caloocan near q.c(mindanao ave, congresional ave, novaliches, paso de blas, visayas ave etc.). bka my alam kau na talyer na expert sa gearbox ng isuzuXT2003.. thanks much in advance

    I was asking that to my friend why not do an engine swap to the decade old engine of crosswind, he said it's too costly to do that considering that they need to replace the entire brake system and tranny.

    I was thinking of slapping it with a more powerful 4JB1 2.8L turbo engine, these two are almost identical except that 4JB1 engine has more horses. I hope they do this if not a crdi engine.

    Doable for I have seen it done. Nagawa na yan but would require modifications din sa brakes and harness. Another thing, the gear ratio of a 4JB1 is too low for a Crosswind. Higher horse but more towards pulling function not straights. Di ko lang alam if adaptable yung tranny ng 4JA1 sa 4JB1.

    Just curious what happened to that Crosswind? what's the reason they changed the engine? was it purely r&d? Is the Crosswind still running up to now? ano yung mga naging challenges nila.. wala ba silang naging problem during the process? Was the engine swap worth it?
