Isuzu Crosswind Owners Thread [continued]

Anyone selling the original tires for Isuzu crosswind 2006 xuv even used but in good condition ( minmal tire wear). Yung
Goodyear Fortera . I think yung spec eh 235 x 70 x R15 .These tires when i asked the Goodyear distributors here in pque/las pinas area eh phase out na raw. I have a reserved tire na ganito kaso isa lang and i have to changed the front tires na. Kung other brand mga brad ano ba yung maganda na same spec na recommended nyo. Thanks mga tsikoteers

Are you aware that a new tire has a shelf life of 6 years if unused?

A tire that is used properly (inflation, rotation, etc.) has a shelf life of 8 to 10 years.

Be very careful of your plans to "save" your unused spare, and match it up by buying, identical/matching "old/stale" tires.

There is a lot of information for this subject, on the internet, if you wish to research the subject more fully.

Agree with uncle nick..

I bought my 2005 model Sportivo, 8 months ago.. It still came with its original tires from the casa, hindi kase masyadong gamit ng previous owner.. Tapos ako eto, grabe harabas.. Nadeform tuloy agad yung isa.. tapos yung isa may punit.. Pero makapal pa ha! Nakapalit tuloy ako ng di-oras..

sir benz, 2004 xuv MT owner po ako.tanong lang po, i am experiencing na when i turn on the aircon yung makina malakas ang shake ng makina na para bang nagwawala, yung rpm nya is 850 na, pero, pag nilalagay lang sa 650 rpm di na nag wawala ang makina.lalo na po kung di naka on ang aircon ok po ang andar ng makina. bakit po kaya? sana po matulungan nyo ako. thanks in advance.

Not sure but have you had the engine supports checked?

Noted. The reserved tire is not really unsused. I've used it once nung na flat yung tire sa likod. anyways thanks for the info. appreciate it.

sir benz, newly replaced lang po yung engine support. the genuine replacement engine support. sa tuwing mag engage ang aircon dun naman sya nahihirapan. thanks in advance.

nakakaadik magbasa dito. mabuhay ang mga masipag sumagot sa mga tanong.

tanong pala sa mga may crosswind na walang cupholder. (tulad ko, xtrm 2002) di ko kasi alam san puede maginstall ng cupholder. Actually, gusto kong magkaroon ng center console. puede ba yon? papalitan yung passenger seat?

Yes, you can install a center console pending you replace the passenger side seat with bucket-type (same used for driver side). You may need to drill some holes to accommodate the modification.
