Okay nga magpricing si Jayson Auto Supply mura talga.. and okay din ung mga nagbebenta madaling kausap. Nkabili na ako ng Pressure Plate, at Clutch Disk, Php2400 talga each ngtry akong twaran pero sagad naraw un, pero satisfied naman ako pagkuha ng parts sa kanila sealed pa na nakabox. ang di ko lang nabili ung Release Bearing NSK Brand Php1100 sbi ksi ng mechanic 550 lng ang replacement.
Yung Rotor Disk ko actually kasalanan ko kung bakit naging manipis na at kailangan ng palitan, mdyo may sound na ung Breaks ko, naibyahe ko pa ng probinsya mga 150km pa ang tinakbo.. wla na palang Break Pads and piston na pala ung kumikiskis sa Disc Break ko.. pati ung mags ko nadale tuloy dahil kinalawang because of the metal particles galing sa nauubos na disc breaks.. ayun maghapon ko rin nilinis pero di ko na naibalik ung dating glory ng mags ko sa front left.. sad to say pero I learned my lesson the costly way... dapat pag may naramdaman ka sa auto pcheck dapat kaagad para di na lumalala.

Personally, that is why I don't take chances. I still bring my unit to a trusted and reliable authorized ISUZU dealer. They have a checklist of what to check depending on mileage. Kaya di ako abutan ng problema sa labas. Either maagapan or simply maayos na agad.

Kasalukuyang binababa ung transmission ko, natanggal na nila ang propeller shaft (ung may 2 crossjoint), pero hirap silang hugutin ang transmission.. meron bang technique un na gingawa sa casa? or bka may hidden lock sa transmission ng crosswind ung sa parteng ibabaw kasi ayaw bumuka, eh natanggal na nila lahat ng turnilyo.
Any ideas?

Natangal nrin nila ung transmission, mdyo stuck up lang daw... they are now replacing the pressure plate and clutch disk.. observations ko.. ung pressure plate ung mga ngipin may groove na, may tama naraw sbi ng mechanic tpos ung clutch disk naman manipis na ung groove paikot sa clutch disk ung halos mabura na. ung release bearing okay pa so di naraw papalitan...

Tanong ko lang meron na bang nakasubok sa Shell Diesel Plus (yellow container) for the 4JA-1 engine. How does it compare to Mobil Delvac?

August 12th, 2009 12:37 PM #746I tried Royal Purple Synthetic Oil from SpeedyFix. I'm using it for a year now. Mas maganda takbo ng crosswind ko kumpara sa dating petroleum motor oil. Mabilis ang pick up ng makina. P500 per gallon. 4 gallons for every change oil.

Sakto, I planning to have a change oil for my crosswind this weekend, ano kaya magandang engine oil?
Here are some of my options baka may suggestions pa kayo kung alin mas okay gamitin.
- Petron Trekker - Php 900 per gallon
- Shell Diesel Plus -?
- Royal Purple -? mahal yata ito

Ask ko narin mas maganda ba ang fully synthetic oil para sa diesel engine like 4JA1? Ano po masasabi nyo d2?

Well, if you have the dough why not. Pero sa aming mga dukha mineral engine oil will also do the job
.
Based on experience, I will pick Mobil Delvac over the Petron Trekker. But would like also to try the Shell Helix Diesel Plus and the Caltex Delo Multigrade.

When i had my XUVi back in 2003 (until 2007), I never used any other oil except IGMO (ISUZU Genuine Motor Oil)... basically Caltex since they're the one who mixed it using ISUZU formulation. Never had any problems and the engine performed above par.
Keep this in mind.... the life (and optimum performance) of a diesel engine does not have to be based on special motor oil (use of such considered as "bonus") but is measured on how regular you change the oil. Motor oil ang buhay ng diesel engine. Kaya regardless of brand, basta laging bago langis ng makina, it's A-OK!
