question for an A/T 4JA1 Turbo engine, what would be the normal procedure in turning off the engine after running for an hour at around 50 - 60 kph speed? How many minutes do I need to run it in idle before turning it off?

Kasi sa akin ang practice ko ay to put it on idle for around 5 minutes bago turn off to make sure the normalized na yung turbo... is this ok or I'm just wasting fuel???

No need to put your vehicle on idle. Since the 4JA1 is just low charged turbo, the oil cooler would be able to regulate oil temp.

Hi mga sirs and gurus. Need your help, bago lang ako d2. Hilander SLX, 1999 ung sa akin. I often visit my mechanic, dahil sa problem ko sa car. Mausok pag inistart, at kapag mabilis na ang takbo. Ang sabi ng mechanic, injection pump daw ang sira, at i-check daw ang nozzle. Tsaka may kabig din sa bandang kaliwa (drivers side).

I fyou do so, justtell the 2nd technician the symptoms as you narrated here but don't say the said findings of the 1st technician who looked at it. If the conclusion is the same, it is likely the case.

Tsaka may kabig din sa bandang kaliwa (drivers side). - Have you had your vehicle checked for its CAMBER and ALIGNMENT? If not, do so. Your camber/alignment may be off.

In my own opinion, I'd go for gas type. Lasts longer.

You referring to the standard tailamps on a 2008~ model Sportivo? If so, they go with the tailamps (not sold separately). Then again, I believe there are aftermarket stuff like those sold in accessory shops.

I was checking this with jasons autosupply pero according to them wala daw talaga kasamang chrome trim yung tail lamp. Si Marvs meron yata pero no news pa ako kung available na sa kanya.

I'm also looking for sportivo decals not sure kung may nabibili nito.

Meron yan pero sa Parts Dept ng mga dealers tiyak. Those are not sold outside the dealer.

According to Jasons dinidikit lang daw ng double adhesive yung chrome trim, sana may magfabricate nito locally I'm sure magiging mabili to.

*bro tholitz- regarding sa chrome trim. try mo madison's sa banawe. sabi nung ebabs na nag-assist sakin meron daw sila nyan pero by-order. pang sportivo 10. price nag re-range 800+up. pag nahanap ko calling card nila post ko or pm kita.

mga boss- pag pinalitan ba ang centerlink mas maganda bang idamay na rin ang mga tierod ends? salamat ulit sa mga tutugon!

sir ok lng ba pag ung automatic tranny ko naka engaged sa 2 or L uphill climb then padating sa flat surface ililipat ko sa D accelerating without stopping the car? My nabasa kasi ako sa transmission forum na ok lng daw, hindi ba masisira ang gears ngauto tranny nun.

Yes. You need have to stop when shifting from one gear to the other BUT you must be cautious of the vehicle's speed when shifting.
