Big Horn/Trooper owners

Nap: Bot mine for 1.8K sa isang member ng hondaclub. Tsamba. Wired it myself. Turbo kasi needs cool down time before you switch the engine OFF coz the oil needs to circulate to bring down the temp. This is the function of the turbo timer. Pag di mo pinalamig and laging gumagana yung turbo there is a possibility of premature break down coz yung nasusunog yung oil which lubricates and cools down the internal parts of your turbo.

maganda turbo timer pag di mo na maiintay yung cool down ng sasakyan, lalo na for long drives. Di mo kasi basta-basta pwedeng patayin yung makina, pero kung makakapag intay ka ng mga 1-2 mins after you park your car at iwanan mong idle eh ok lang din.

ang naging unang problema ko with the turbo timer ay yung alarm system, kelangan palitan ko yung mga default settings para passivate alarm mangyayari, yung kusang mag o on yung alarm after namatay yung makina.

on my alarm (autopage), problem was the alarm would open all the doors after the TT switches off the engine. I had to remove this feature pero madali lang naman. Wala ata syang feature na mag au-auto arm after engine switch off.

pwede ba pa post nung mga meanings ng codes sa chassis ng bighorn, I'm planning to put another battery pero di ko sigurado kung meron pang kelangan na ilagay bago dun sa 2nd battery.

i just got a 03 trooper, is it neccesary to install a turbo timer? what brand do you guys recomend?

It is not necessary if you are patient enough not to kill the ignition immediately.

Ask ko lang... san meron nung original na back seat ng trooper? yung sa akin kasi yung di facing type eh.. parang sa mga FX magkaharap kayo. Pwepwede ba ito for 02 trooper?

mdpo: You have to "hunt" for it sa mga surplus-an. Maganda nga yung sa JDM version na nakakabit sa BigHorn. Yung sa PH nga kasi, parang FX pero leather naman, di ba? . Oo pwede sa 02 Trooper. There are also several companies sa NET making third seats kaya lang shipping ang problema sa best option mo is the surplus. HTH!

di ba yung 3rd row seats ng bighorn meron lock sa gitna? yung sa pagbukas mo ng pintuan sa likod. So kelangan mo pang palagyan yung sa local trooper.

actually 90% of the time di naman nagagamit yung back seats but if ever gagamitin is not that effective kasi dumudulas ang paa so what happen is mahirap ito upuan.

garyq: thanks pala for your call d pa ako nakapag change oil. Tanong pa pala ako regarding change oil we need to flushing oil before change oil? I will buy palang kasi ng recommeded oil mo yong 4X4 petron fully synthetic.
