Gearings from gas-fed engine differs greatly on diesel-fed units. Especially the final gear ratios located in your differentials.![]()
ay hindi! Satoshi, surplasan yan. Yung 4m40 na nakita ko surplus and the 2.8 4JB1. I know someone na naglagay ng 4Jb1 sa isuzu fuego complete with suspension, 4x4. (paging rookie, inputs pls). Ungas has a point, iba nga yung gearing. Ungas: Bro how different ba? more on high torque (overall)? ang diesel?
garyq::: Sir, sa pagkakaalam ko gas-fed engines need more taller gears in the tranny to compensate for the lack of torque while having smaller gears at the differentials for more grunt at high speeds. Vice versa for diesel units.

Ang mga Pajero na gasolina nasa 4.xx (can't remember) ang ring and pinion gear nila.
Kaya when they switch to bigger tires, they want my 5.29's.Umoorder pa sila ng differential gears ng diesel so they can run 35" tires.

iupgrade mo ba ang harap ng trooper mo? yung modelong bumper ba pwedeng isalpak kahit d iupgrade ang hood,lights and fender? kasi yon lang ang gusto kong iupgrade yung bumper niya lang.

mukang matibay ata ang 3.1 kasi kahit sa forklift gamit iyon mas mabilis lang talaga ang 3.0 direct injection kaya lang kailangan maganda diesel mo para d bumigay ang fuel system. sa malaysia yung modelong bighorn nila doon they still used 4jg2. see this link http://www.acm.com.my/bighorn_specs.htm.
nap: may advantage din ang 3.1 kahit luma. Of course mas simple pa yung technology sa pag nagkaproblema mas madali ayusin and yung piyesa meron na rin replacement Japan. Diesel quality, mag biodiesel ka! Punta ka sa party sa Saturday ha kahit dumaan ka lang.
