I got the titanium silver color and bought the chrome upgrades for protection and the looks, and it indeed looks great. Though it looks a lot like a trailblazer, it doesn't really bother me as much as it does most of my friends. The interior looks nice and offers a great deal of comfort, the leather looking premium and the compartments looking quite fancy, with more than a dozen cup holders. The GPS is standard, the same with the LCD, and a bluetooth function, nothing special nor out of the ordinary, though the adjustable motorized driver's seat provides a luxurious addition and an added comfort in adjusting the seat for a good ride.
The car is also very spacious and the seats fold well and easy providing for more space if needed. A perfect all around vehicle.
The passive key entry functions amazingly providing a flawless experience in which isuzu executed brilliantly coo-dos to them for that.
I have, however a few gripes with the model. I don't know if it is all in my head, but the ride feels a bit uncomfortable where I could feel the slightest cracks in the road when I drive, more so if I hit a big pot hole, an experience I never had with my fortuner (2015 Model), quite weird considering it is an SUV. I consulted a few other MU-X owners and I have had a mixture of responses. Most dismissing my claims, this includes my entire family, but some share the same sentiment. THIS NEVER HAPPENED WHEN I TEST DROVE THE CAR (Worth noting that I did not test drive the same car I bought, I am bit particular when it comes to buying a model that has been used by other to test drive). Since I barely had time to test the car, I'd give it a week or so before I start making a final assessment. Though if anyone has had a similar problem I'd appreciate it if you could share your experience and we can help each other out.
If this problem persists I may have to buy a suspension for my vehicle, if anyone would care to suggest a brand I would appreciate it.
Also I don't want to get into details for obvious reasons, but it is quite easy to steal the spare tire, future buyers might want to invest in a padlock or something.
My dealer Southern Auto-Mart was polite and friendly, very accommodating and patient with me which is a big plus for me. Though I had to wait a while for my model, overall I feel quite happy that I waited for it.
Stay tuned for a more comprehensive review of the MU-X.
