    -----------------

We're in the same situation kaya lang TB sa wife ko and MU-X sa kin.
    Comparing the MU-X 4x2 A/T (1358K) against TB 4x2 L A/T (2015) (1398K)
    1) Present availability of the unit under Bank PO= MU-X waiting / TB anytime
    2) Freebies= MU-X basic only
    TB - LTO,CMortage, Insurance + basic + cash discount 79K (Bank PO)
    3) Interior Panalo ang MX-U- may LCD camera, sensor etc , back liban sa back compartment di pantay if flattened ang 3rd row but Isuzu is planning to have thin box para mapantay as optional.
    4) wheel MU-X 17" / TB 16"
    5) 3rd row more leg room - MU-X
    6) For me kasi mas maporma ang TB kahit walang roof rack

    Now, my questions are -
    1) prices of spare parts
    2) resale value

    Go for the fortuner.

Engine panalo TB but interior and other features panalo Mu-x. I wanted the additional comforts than the power of the engine - passive remote, power folding mirrors, power driver seat, 10-inch Rear Monitor, auto climate control, Navigation, audio controls on steering whell, ESC, Traction Control, Rear Camera, Leather seats. Yung engine naman nila parehong Isuzu made. Depende na lang talaga kung alin ang mas gusto mo, yung looks ng TB or Mu-x and the features you get for the price.

actually i prefer mu-x but also i also like tb. kaso walang maibigay na detalye mga isuzu agents kung mabibigyan ako ng variant na preferred ko bago ako umuwi by month-end. so i chose tb lt at 4x2 variant. bale upgraded siya with the following add-ons: DVD/ GPS Package (8" Touch Screen Monitor) with with Reverse Camera, Headrest Monitor, 20" mags, Leather Seatcover, Solargard tint, Carpet Matting, Chevey Keychain, Early Warning Device, Umbrella, Car Cover, Rustproofing plus Comprehensive Insurance with Acts of Nature, Chattel Mortgage, 3 Years LTO Registration for 110k down payment... yan lang eh

Just yesterday, I checked the tire pressures myself, and true enough all of them were 40psi! What the heck? So I deflated it down to 29. And all rattle sounds disappeared. You might wanna try it.
Yes! I changed the tire pressure and there was a big difference indeed. THanks for the info guys!

I had the same problem sir, but I decided to buy the MU-X instead.

Although the Fortuner is a solid good overall buy a new overhaul model is coming in Q4, so I suggest you wait for that model instead of buying now. I on the other hand could not wait. The trailblazer is likewise a good brand and is in fact my fiance's preferred SUV, however I was told that the resale-ability of Chevrolet cars isn't as good as Isuzu or Toyota.

What got me to buy the MU-X is that it is a new model that has been tested in Thailand and Australia with good reviews, good resale-ability, and for more or less the same price against the other brands offers more features.

Try mu sir test drive ang mga cars, the most comfortable for me is the Fortuner but with very little difference.

resale ability? Talaga yun agad ang iniisip mo. Ibenta ka agad....business mo ba buy and sell?

    Yes. See below:

The Isuzu and Chevrolet partnership has been around for a while, given that General Motors used to own a stake in Isuzu. As a result, Chevrolet (under GM) and Isuzu share the platforms, parts and components used for the D-Max, Colorado, Trailblazer and the recently revealed MU-X..

Isuzu is 4jji tc at 3.0 engine displacement. While ang binebenta sa phils ay 2.5 engine displacement with 136hp and 380nm tirque.
TB is 2.8 engine displacement with 200hp and 500nm torque.
Parehas sila ng platform but not the engine. Basa basa pag may time at huwag lang mag aattached.😊

Stealership talaga. Baka singer oil ang gamit, kaya every 5Tkm palit hehe. Kahit yung brake cleaner isang lata sinisingil. Every 5Tkm din ang brake service?

Isuzu did not design/made Chevy's smaller Duramax engines. If I'm not mistaken VM Motori gumawa. Plus Isuzu would have done the same thing sa mu-X kung sila gumawa sa Trailblazer, max power sa displacement pero di nila ginawa.
