Its an AT. Actually my 2.5 Mux is better at overtaking than the 2.4 fort due to predictable powerband. Their 0 to 100 times are just about the same. Isa pang ayaw ko sa fort is the gear hunting and the sudden jerky down and upshifts. Yes napa reprogram ko na ito. Same pa din.

If the 2.4 fort is somewhat slower, then what more sa 2.2 ng eve, though i'm not saying it's a slouch.

But both the 2.5 mu-x and 2.4 fort have better usable, as well as wider powerbands compared to 2.5 4d56 vgt of the older monty, right? Kaya it won't need to be revved hard just to get the optimal performance of the engine.

The 2.5 mux needs to be revved hard too. But power is linear and predictable. Yung fort, minsan may power minsan puros hangin. I feel more confident in overtaking with my mux and my previous vgt strada vs this 2.4 fort. Sa strada lang ang problema sobrang lag but at least you know when the turbo kicks, power is steady.

Haven't noticed it with my 3.0 mux and the 2.4v. Parang same lang for me hahaha. Mas mabigat lang pakiramdam with fort

Could have something to do with the displacement, which affects the powerband of the engine. But those two newer engines won't feel that lethargic under low rpms, i guess.

That's where bigger td engines shine though. Most of them have power which is almost always linear throughout the range.

I think safe gains would yeild close to 200hp but the best thing here is torque gains. Zixx888 tama ba?

The updated engine engine has lower compression ratio, right? Then that would reduce the diesel clatter, which helps improve nvh levels, iirc.
